Logan closes his eyes and sighs, he hears the faint sound of dog tags jingling. Logan closes his eyes and the old memories seep through.
Logan: I need you to read my mind again.
Charles: I'm afraid the results will be the same as before.
Military generals talk among themselves about Logan's X-rays.
Male scientist 1: He'll be indestructible.
Female scientist: No memory.
Male scientist 1: His entire skeleton...
Male scientist 2: ...Adamantium in his bones.
Charles :Sometimes the mind needs to discover things for itself.
Logan looks at his dogs tags and someone snaps it in two.
Female/Male Scientist: He'll have no memory.
Logan is lower into the water. Indistinct shouts can be heard and door creeks open. Logan gasps as he sits up, he closes his eyes as he slows down his breathing.
Anchor: A dozen tourists in the White House during the attack are still being held for questioning. ...best-
tasting food.
Logan leans against the doorframe and sees a boy still up watching TV, each time the boy blinks the channel changes.
Boy: Can't sleep?
Logan: How can you tell?
The boy looks at him.
Boy: Cause you're awake.
Logan nods slightly.
Logan: Right. How about you?
Boy: I don't sleep.
Logan walks past the kitchen and stops when he sees Bobby eating a sandwich.
Logan: Hey.
He walks in.
Logan: Doesn't anybody sleep around here?
Bobby: Apparently not.
Logan opens the fridge and Bobby watches him.
Logan: You got any beer?
Bobby slightly smiles.
Bobby: This is a school.
Logan looks back at him.
Logan: So that's a no?
Bobby: Yeah, that's a no.
Logan: Got anything other than chocolate milk?
He closes the fridge and Bobby points to a cupboard.
Bobby: Y/N stashed some in there. Don't tell him I told you.
Logan nods and heads over to the cupboard, he opens it and grabs a Dr. Pepper and opens it. He heads over to the kitchen island and realizes the bottle is a little warm so he hands the bottle to Bobby, he grabs it and blows into it, freezing it a bit. He hands it back to Logan.
Logan: Thanks.
Bobby: No problem.
The door slides open and a guard wheels in the professor as Scott stands behind them. The guard leaves and Scott takes over but another guard stops him.
Laurio: I'll take him from here.
He grabs Scott's wrist and the professor reassures him.
Charles: It's all right, Scott.
