Chapter Thirty:

Darko attacks the group. He uses his glowing, white eyed gaze to cause Ryan to have a debilitating panic attack, one which paralyses him from fear. After this, he attacks Rhys, biting the Scotsman's arm and drinking his blood, before trying to bite into his neck instead. Will attempts to use a taser on Darko, but he is paralysed in the same way as Ryan. However, by changing focus from Ryan to Will, Ryan is freed from the effects (although they do linger a little). This allows Ryan to use the taser instead, saving Rhys. Quickly, they try to leave the location. Ryan pushes Will (in his wheelchair) towards the exit and goes back to help Rhys. He and Rhys get out of the door, but Darko stops them from getting back into the location to help Will. The timer in the hallway eventually ticks down to zero. Darko leaves before it does, blocking the door. This leaves Rhys and Ryan trapped outside, where the floor is electrified and they are rendered unconscious.

Chapter Thirty-One:

With Darko occupied with Rhys and Ryan, Will takes his chance to get as far away as possible, heading deeper into the second location. However, his attempts are in vain thanks to Darko's ability to sense fear and track down its source. Using a taser that was dropped in the previous encounter, Will stuns Darko and makes his escape through a vent, finding out that the second locations' vents link with a vent shaft in the parts and service room from the first game. He manages to block the vent's opening and uses a walkie talkie to try and warn his friends as to where Darko is.

Once the clock hits 8AM, the next night of the game begins, meaning that there is only two hours in between each night to recover. Will is quickly found by Bonnie, who renders Will unconscious by violently throwing him into the ground. When Will wakes up, he is within the Bonnie suit. according to one of Lewis' notes which they had previously found, all animatronics aside from Foxy are spring lock suits in the first location, meaning that he is now in a very dire situation.

Chapter Thirty-Two:

Rhys finds himself back in the nightmare which the group had shared upon entering the location. the atmosphere seems more active which causes it to be incredibly distracting, but the effects are counteracted. Back at the centre of the abyss like area, he begins to observe the convergence points of all the tendrils, and notices body parts sticking out of it. He attempts to pull the person within free but is attacked by the tendrils. Ryan wakes him up from the nightmare, the pair now in the third location of the game series. Rhys is incredibly blunt, rude and dismissive with his responses to Ryan. Springtrap, programmed to synthesize Baz's voice, and containing the deceased man's corpse, enters the scene and causes Ryan to have a PTSD episode. While getting Ryan to safety, Rhys is injured, which makes him angrier. When they are safe, Rhys lashes out at Ryan, in a complete reverse of what happened in Chapter 9. Ryan breaks down, and when Rhys finally comes back to his senses, he too breaks down. Rhys' eyes flash amber, and AE-Toxin drips from his nose, proving without a shadow of a doubt he has been infected.

Chapter Thirty-Three:

Having been waiting for his brother and friends to leave their, "meeting," for a long time, Nathan goes to investigate. He is tricked into going into a secluded part of the fake hospital and is knocked out. Meanwhile, Ryan feels incredibly guilty after all of the accusations that Rhys threw at him, and vows to do something to make up for it all. He tries to support and comfort Rhys, while Rhys's parasite tries to manipulate him.

Chapter Thirty-Four:

Rhys continues to suffer from a mental breakdown after realising that he has been infected. For a while, Ryan manages to help the Scotsman, but before long, Rhys' parasite convinces his host that he is in danger. Freaking out, Rhys ends up pushing Ryan into a metal filing cabinet of which he slams his head against. Then, Rhys runs into the location, where he is forced to forget about what had happened so that his parasite can focus on tormenting him. However, the parasite's "fun," ends when something begins to follow Rhys through the location.
