We get back to alexandria with the food and give it to our inventory girl. She just runs away in glee. I walk Jesus down to the cells, I shove his face against the wall and unlock the cuffs. I walk out swiftly with my jeans sticking to my dirty skin. I really needed a bath geez. I loved alexandria, I really did but when shit goes down shit really goes down. I hated seeing all the kids lose someone important to them, It brakes my heart. I climb the stairs up to the bright sky and follow the slight crowd over to the church. Rick had already begun.
"There is more groups out there"
"YES but will they really help us or just use us and make us their slaves" someone from the crowd shouts.
"I remember when Aaron first came and found our group, he said something similar to this man and look where we are now, we have become stronger and we are closer to becoming strong enough to beat whatever hell hole we live in now. I want to go and meet these people because I think we can prosper off of it." I finish after I walk to the stage.
"She makes a great point but what happens when its not enough to relay on hopes and prayers?" Carol chimes, "God has a plan for us" Gabriel says. This group had told me of how they had come to meet Gabriel but now isn't the time, I sit down in a chair near the back of the stage.
"This might be a good opportunity" Maggie states "They should have medical supplies, food, clothing!"
"Then lets take a vote" Rick shouts, "All in favor" I watched the majority raise their hands, "so its settled we will leave at dawn tomorrow" and with that the church became empty with Daryl, Maggie, Glenn and myself left in the church.
"Hey Artemis" Maggie walked over, "I need to tell you something"
"Yeah whats up"
"Glenn and I are having a baby" She says with a smile, I lung at the growing women and hug her tight. "OH MAGGIE I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU" I let go and see tears in her eyes.
"Me too"
