The beasts were not only back they were more then three this time.

Tessa wanted to run like hell but her feet wouldn't move. Helplessly she watched them running towards her. More then dozen paws splashing through the river.

Oh God, where was Stefan when she needed him? She remembered the way he had thrown himself before her and fought with two beasts. Then his bloody shirt and wounds flashed in her mind. Suddenly she didn't wanted him to come back and get killed.

She wanted him to be safe, because she wouldn't be able to see him getting hurt again. She didn't know why but seeing him getting hurt was way more terrifying for her then the pack of wolfs coming towards her.

"Oh god please don't let Stefan come back until its over" she prayed, tears fell from her eyes at the thought of never being able to see Stefan again.

This is the end, this is the end, this really is the end. She thought and was about to close her eyes to welcome death when a lighting illuminated the whole area making the beasts howl in discomfort and run back in the jungle.

She was shocked. What has happened here? One minute the beasts was about to attack her then a lighting striked and next she saw them running back.

She had to blink several times to adjust her eyes to the sudden darkness again and then she saw him, an ugly, big bear like man, standing just inside the gate.

She didn't know if she should thank this stranger for saving her life or run like hell as far away from him possible.

"Ah... a woman. So you are the reason he doesn't want to leave earth." The man asked coming close to her.

Unknowingly she took a step back and just stared at this unusual man.

"Are you unable to understand me?" He asked looking at her and she nodded then immediately shook her head still unable find her voice.

"Well? Where is he?" He asked taking a step forward and Tessa naturally stepped back.

She gulped air and finally found her voice to ask "who?"

"Stefan. Where is he?"

"Stefan? He... he is not here"

"Then where is he?" He asked coming yet closer, forcing Tessa to retreat further until her back touched the stable wall, making her even more panic.

Who is this guy? Why he is looking for Stefan? Does he want to harm him? He is dangerous, that's for sure. Didn't the beasts ran away like rats by just seeing him?

She has to do something to save Stefan and being scared is not going to help her, with that thought in her mind she mustered all the courage she could and asked "Who... who are you and what you want from Stefan?"

"None of your damn fucking business girl. Just tell me where is he?" He said mincing each word and Tessa's so called bravado slipped several inch down.

He definitely means to harm Stefan. Oh god what should she do? Her brain raced with hundreds of options but none of them seems to be good enough until her eyes fell on the pitchfork, laying by the hay stacks.

If only she could get her hands on it, but how would she reach it while this monster stood right in front, staring at her.

"State your business with Stefan Mister or get the hell out of here" she said and hoped she sounded stronger then she actually felt.

"You have started to annoy me. Why shouldn't I just finish this conversation by breaking your dainty neck?" He said and caught her throat with on large hand.
