Part -10

Tessa's life have become a wonderful dream from which she never wanted to wake up.

For once in her life she was truly happy thanks to Stefan. After they made love for the first time, he transformed into a romantic lover. He stayed home more and more. Only going out when they are really low on things.

On that occasions also he would come home as soon as possible.

Tessa's days were full of night's memories and daily chores between winks, surprise touches, hugs, and kisses.

Stefan was demanding lover but he was also proving to be a very patient teacher. He taught her how to milk the goats and sow many different types of vegetables.

Together they cooked food and she was fast learning from the recipe books he bought for her.

Every day she tried something new at dinner. At beginning she made many blunders. Although he never complaint while eating but he mercilessly teased her afterwards until she perfected the recipe.

He also taught her to care for his beloved horse Ambrosden. The tallest horse Tessa has ever seen. All the through bred horses from her father's stable would be dwarf comparing to Ambrosden. The magnificent animal was only intimidating to look at but like his master her was a softy to Tessa's touch.

Stefan took him for exercise out of the boundary daily, while Tessa stand by the gate to admire both truly and utterly handsome creatures.

Once Stefan pulled unwilling Tessa also atop Ambrosden. Adjusting her between his thighs he took her galloping round and round the boundary. At first she was too scared to open her eyes and look down from such height but soon her fear was lost in laughter she couldn't help.

The fresh air on her face and hair and the speed gave her sense of freedom. Stefan's arms around her and his chest behind her back was enough to make her feel completely safe to enjoy the adventure. Since that day she

Every day bought something new to her life and she immensely enjoying it.

Stefan's sudden hug from behind her bought her back to present and she smiled.

"What are you doing? Day dreaming again? There are so much to do here and I have to go into village for week's supply."

"Do you really have to go today?" Tessa asked with a pout and Stefan laughed at her tactics. The minx persuaded him to stay home yesterday but they were really low on ration and he have to go get things before she gets her way again.

"Yes I do minx. Otherwise we will have learn to eat grass like the goats and Ambrosden." he said laughingly pushing her aside but she just caught his arm and asked innocently "can't it wait another day?"

"No honey it can't. We don't have anything to cook tonight. And I haven't been to work so I have no money to buy anything."

"Then?"

"Then let me go. Do some work and get money so I could buy food for us."

"Can't we cook vegetables from our garden?"

"No sweet thing. If you want me to perform well in nights then you have to feed me more then just the potatoes and tomatoes." He said winking at her and she felt the blush rising to her cheeks remembering last night's event when they couldn't even reached the bed.

"Baby please stop thinking about it or this time we won't even reach the house let alone the bed."

She grinned and let his hand go but not before making him promise that he will hurry home as soon as possible.

Stefan found work at a farm. The owner asked him to round up the cattles from the jungle area where the owner's son took them by mistake and came running home to inform his father as soon as he realized his mistake.

The job was not to Stefan's liking or standard but he did it anyway. Village people was dead scared of the jungle so the farm owner was willing to pay 5 panz per cow returned and according to him there was at least 20 grazing in the jungle.

Stefan missed Ambrosden for such job but he couldn't possibly go back to bring him so he did it himself. By the time he rounded up the cattles and brought them to the farm it was late afternoon.

Thankfully he was able to bring back 19 of them loosing only one and the farm owner thanked him for that before paying him.

When Stefan finished buying the supplies and was about turn back home he saw the butcher's shop and thought of buying something special for tonight.

As he was waiting by the shop for his number he couldn't help but over hear two women talking.

"Did you know about McCartney's girl? The one who bought great shame to the family?" One asked the other woman.

"Tesalina? Everybody knows about her. She tried to break her sister's house and brought such shame to the Sir John McCartney's family." The other replied. The name was enough to pull Stefan's attention to them.

"Yeah. What a shame. Younger sister to seduced her brother in law then blackmail him to marry her. Dr. Derby is such an honorable man but poor fellow fell into the wicked girls trap."

"How do you know all that?"

"My sister works for Dr. Michael Derby. She told me that after that awful day nothing is same in that house and Dr. Derby's wife Gabriel haven't returned home. She is living with her parents."

"Really?"

"Yeah. But its understandable. Who would want to face her husband if one's own sister have shamed the whole family that way."

"True. Do you think they are going to separate?"

"Maybe."

"My Dominic saw her the day she was outcasted by her family. He said she walked into the jungle in the night. "

"Tesalina?"

"Yes."

"Why would she go in there it's too dangerous"

"Maybe that's why she went there to commit suicide. What other options she had. Family has disowned her and no one in the village would have given her shelter."

"Serves her right for being such a wicked and scheming girl she was."

"True. She maybe long dead now."

"Good riddance"

"But what if she is still alive somewhere."

"Then she must be warming some wicked man's bed what else she could be doing."

The last remark was like a direct hit to Stefan's concise. That's what Tessa was exactly doing but it was not her fault. No no. It was his fault. He was using that innocent girl.

He was the wicked man. He should have known better. What was he thinking. Its not as if they could live their entire life hiding in the jungle. It has to be better then that, Tessa deserve better than that.

He couldn't hear anymore and left the market place at once.
