"Tessa..." Stefan called her while she fought to remain conscious and was still trying hard to believe what had just happened looking at Tiatan's headless body lying by her feet. His blood still flowing, making the soil rapidly dark brown and she immediately pulled her leg back before it could reach her.

"Tessa..." Stefan called again and she looked at his concerned face. He was holding her close and almost forgot about his own wound.

"Y... you are hurt." She said remembering his wound and trying immediately to push away a little so she could see it.

"It's not that bad..." Stefan started to say but was cut short by her shout "Not bad? I saw your blood seeping out from it a minute ago and you are saying its not that bad?"

That made Stefan smile. The lass just killed a very skilled and dangerous warlock, not to mention using the Duroider, and she was getting worried over his little nik as if that was the most important think right now.

"What do you find so amusing?" She asked casually while lifting his arms to examine the wound and sucked in her breath at the nasty deep gash she saw. That was still oozing little blood.

"Nothing." He replied and winced when her hand touched his nasty wound.

"I am sorry." She apologized immediately before covering the wound and closing her eyes. When she opened them again and looked up at Stefan, he was looking down at her hand that was covering his wound. She looked down there too, removing her hand and gasped. The blood flow has stopped and only his skin was visible through the blood soaked cut of his shirt.

"How did you do that?" Stefan asked sounding surprised.

"I... I don't know. I just felt like doing it and..." she tried to explain what she wasn't able to understand herself.

"What? What you felt like doing?"

"I... well I felt like... like doing what I did."

"That was my original question. What did you do?"

"No. You asked how did you do it. Not what did you do. Because you know what it did. I healed you, and I really don't know how it did it. But somehow I managed to do it..." She started babbling.

Stefan didn't interrupt her until she stopped and looked up to him and asked pointing at Tiatan's headless body's general direction "Do you think that... that his powers somehow... you know."

"That would be my guess too. You gained his powers when you killed him." Stefan replied excitedly.

"Oh great. I am not only a killer now, but a power stealing killer. Isn't that great?" She said frustrated with everything and just got up dusting her hand.

Stefan got up too and started following her as she walked towards the entrance of the castle's main hall while saying "I think it is awesome. Just imagine you are the Angel..."

She turned back so suddenly that he couldn't complete the name the Duroider bestowed on it's wielder. Her eyes was stormy when she said angrily "Do not call me that please."

"But you are the chosen one."

"I didn't wanted to be the chosen one. I didn't wanted to kill anyone."

"Well you are and you did kill Tiatan."

"Thanks for reminding me." She snapped and turned to resume walking.

This time he grabbed her hand and didn't let go when she tried to pull away. "What's the matter lass? Why are you so upset. You should be greatful for such a gift..."
