Hiiii! I'm back, hope you all enjoyed the last chapter, and I hope you'll enjoy this one too!  Happy reading! (Sorry for republishing it, I forgot a title 🥲)

Newt's POV:

I had heard rumours about a kid with brown hair, brown eyes, and a mysterious past who was the favourite amongst all of the adults here. Now, I wouldn't label myself as the most curious child in the world, but hearing about this kid had piqued my interest. So, anyone can imagine my satisfaction when I opened his door to see him awake and standing in front of it. It was a few minutes past midnight, so I thought I was going to have to actually wake him up but he looked pretty startled when I opened the door. It was kind of funny, as I looked at him and as he looked back at me, there was a flicker of what looked like recognition in his eyes, yet I had never seen this boy before.

"Hey, my name's Newt, and I already bloody know who you are, which is why we've decided to pull you away tonight." I said, waiting for him to reply.

"Okay." He replied, stepping out into the hallway and closing the door which let out a soft thump.

"Before we go, can I bring Teresa with us? She's in the room next to mine." The boy chirped.

I groaned at him.

"Dude, this isn't a slumber party."

"Please." He replied.

I rolled my eyes, but then gave him a smile.

"I actually woke her up before you, I think she's getting ready. Go get her will you?"

"Alright." He replied, and walked over to the other room.

I watched him open the door and go inside, and then exit again with the girl.

"Hello again." The girl said as she approached with Steph- Thomas.

I just nodded in response, then turned and started leading them away.

"We've heard a lot about you guys, as well as Aris and Rachel." I said, trying not to sound creepy.

Thomas gave me a look, but then asked, "Are you sure we won't get caught?"

I grinned, "Don't be a sissy, what's the worst these people can do, lock you in your room?"

I was waiting for a laugh or a giggle, but instead Thomas gave a worried look to Teresa, who nodded in response. It annoyed me slightly, but I brushed it off as I led them through various hallways and up and down a few different stairwells. I glanced back and saw that they looked slightly more nervous the farther away from their rooms that they got, so I decided to lighten the mood.

"Sorry that this is taking a little while, but Alby and Minho can't wait to meet you." I said.

I glanced back slyly and caught the curious look shared between Steph- Thomas and Teresa. I continue to wonder why they changed Thomas's name to Thomas. No one knows, but I was snooping around a tech lab and came across two files that had been left open, Thomas and Teresa, or actually, Stephen and Deedee. I doubt they know, but I won't be the one to tell them, that's something they need to figure out by themselves.

"This is our favourite hiding spot." I said proudly.

"The maintenance closet?" Teresa questioned.

"Yeah, it's better than it sounds." I said, opening the door and leading them inside.

"What's up gents?" said Minho sitting on one of the less dusty boxes in the room.

"Can you stop saying gents, it's not funny, and it's getting on my nerves." Alby said, rolling his eyes.
