BANG*

The shot rang out, before taehyung could react, Junkoook, who had been watching from his hiding place, leapt forward taking the bullet .

"No!" Taehyung screamed, his heart stopping as Junkoook collapsed in his arms, blood soaking his clothes.

For a brief moment, everything went silent. Taehyung's eyes widen in shock, his body froze in his place with disbelief and utter shock. But his shock quickly turned into rage. His eyes burn with anger,

Taehyung turned towards Felix, he saw red his mind got blank with fury and With a single, brutal motion, snapped Felix’s neck, ending the fight once and for all.

Breathing heavily, he knelt beside Junkoook, pulling him in his arms. "You’re going to be okay," he whispered, with his  cracked voice while his hands shakes in fear ,a fear of losing.

His men's were still fighting with  Felix’s men's, began to clear the room. Jin and Jimin rushed to V’s side, but V didn’t looked at them. His focus was only on Junkoook, who was barely conscious, his breath shallow and labored

"We’re getting you to the hospital," V said, his voice barely above a whisper as he lifted Junkook in his arms, his heart heavy with guilt and pain. He rushes towards the car with unconscious jungkook in his arms.

Taehyung's car stops at the hospital, and he rushed out, holding Junkoook in his arms. Blood soaked his clothes, the deep red staining everything. Taehyung's heart pounded in his chest as he shouted, "help!doctor,  I need doctor where's the doctor?" He shouted entering the hospital.

"Oh! My god " ,"What happend?!" , The hospital staff rushed over to him as they  immediately took Junkoook away on a stretcher. Taehyung stayed close near him holding his hand , his mind racing with worry. "Will he be okay?" he asked with his  trembling voice. When they stopped him out side the emergency operation room.

One of the doctors puts his hand on his shoulder assuring him "it's critical, but you brought him in time. It’s a good thing you got him here. If it had been even a minute longer..." The doctor didn’t need to finish the sentence. As taehyung's stomach curnch with guilt and fear.

"We need to perform an emergency operation right away ," the doctor said before heading inside the operating room.

Taehyung stood frozen, staring at the red "Operation in Progress" light flashing above the doors. He felt like his heart was being crushed as he slumped into a chair in the waiting area. His hands, still stained with Junkoook’s blood, shook uncontrollably. He closed his eyes, trying to block out the haunting image of Junkoook’s lifeless body in his arms.

"This is all my fault," he whispered, his voice breaking. "I should have done better... I should have protected him. He didn’t deserve any of this."

Every hours which passed felt like days , it felt longer than any other days. Taehyung groaned as he pulled his hair while cursing himself for everything , the guilt clawed at him with every passing minute.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, the light above the operating room door flicked off. Taehyung heart leapt in his chest. He jumped to his feet, rushing toward the door.

The doctor came out, removing his mask. "The operation was successful , we have removed the bullet out of his head ," he said, though his voice was tired. "He’ll be okay for now, but it’ll take time for him to wake up as the bullet has harmed his brain nerves . We’ll need to keep him monitored."

"How much? When will he wake up" taehyung asked in a rush.

"We can't say anything right now , may be it will take a few days" doctor slightly patted his shoulder consolingly and left Taehyung let out a shaky breath. His legs buckled, and he slumped against the wall, he was feeling a slight relieved know that jungkook was out of danger now but he still felt restless knowing the battle wasn’t over yet.
