Back in Seoul,
The morning sun slipped softly through the tall windows of the luxurious room, painting golden streaks across the floor. The world outside was slowly waking up, but inside the warm cocoon of Taekook’s bedroom, time moved a little slower.
Taehyung stirred first, his lashes fluttering open as he let out a soft stretch. Turning to his right, a tender smile curved on his lips the second his gaze landed on Jungkook. The younger was still fast asleep, his plump lips slightly pouted and his hair adorably tousled, like a sleepy bunny in a nest of silk sheets.
Unable to resist, Taehyung leaned in and gently wrapped his arms around Jungkook’s waist, nuzzling into the crook of his neck and placing a warm, lingering kiss there.
Jungkook stirred at the touch, eyes fluttering open with a sleepy blink as he let out a soft yawn. “Mm... good morning,” he mumbled, voice husky with sleep.
“Good morning, bun,” Taehyung whispered back, voice soft and deep, still holding him close.
They stayed like that for a few peaceful seconds before Jungkook broke the silence, his voice barely above a whisper. “What do you think Minho is doing right now?”
Taehyung brushed a hand through Jungkook’s hair. “Sleeping, probably.”
Jungkook sighed, eyes tracing the ceiling. “Do you think he’s alright now? He was crying so much yesterday…”
That made Taehyung pull back slightly. He cupped Jungkook’s cheeks with both hands, tilting his face so their eyes met. “Bun, he’s alright. I promise. Nothing’s gonna happen to him—or any of the kids. I won’t let it.”
Jungkook nodded slowly, though his pout didn’t disappear. Seeing that, Taehyung leaned in and placed a small kiss on his lips. “Don’t be like that, bun. I like it more when you smile.”
Then, without warning, he attacked Jungkook’s sides with gentle tickles.
“Taeee!” Jungkook squealed, squirming under the sheets with laughter. “Stop—stop!”
Taehyung only grinned wider. “There’s that smile,” he said, victorious.
In one swift move, he threw the covers aside and picked Jungkook up into his arms like a feather, making the younger gasp, wide-eyed.
“W-What are you doing? I can walk! I’m heavy!” Jungkook blurted, cheeks blooming with a deep red.
“You? Heavy?” Taehyung chuckled, pressing a kiss to Jungkook’s nose. “Not at all. You’re light as a petal.”
Still carrying him, Taehyung pushed open the bathroom door and set Jungkook down gently on the marble sink counter. The room filled with the sound of running water and soft laughter as they began brushing their teeth side by side.
Taehyung teased Jungkook throughout—bumping his hip playfully, winking through the mirror, and purposely smearing foam on Jungkook’s cheek just to lick it off later, making Jungkook flush deeper.
“Tae,” Jungkook whined with his toothbrush still in his mouth, “you’re such a tease.”
“I know,” Taehyung grinned, spitting into the sink. “But you love it.”
Jungkook just rolled his eyes, a tiny smirk tugging at his lips despite himself.
Once they were done, Taehyung leaned closer, his palm finding its way to Jungkook’s waist, slowly guiding him back against the cool mirror.
The kiss started tender—slow, deliberate, and full of unspoken feelings. But as seconds passed, it deepened, tongues brushing, breaths quickening, and fingers tightening. Taehyung’s hand slid under Jungkook’s shirt, caressing the warm skin of his waist while Jungkook tugged softly on Taehyung’s hair, the tension between them thick with heat and desire.
