Two months passed.

The morning sun beat down on the training grounds, casting long shadows as Rokkun and Azula sparred. Sweat dripped from their brows, their movements a blur of steel and fire. Rokkun parried Azula's strikes with practiced ease. Azula, however, was no slouch. Her movements were quick, her strikes precise, and her firebending, though not as potent as her brother's, was a dangerous complement to her swordplay.

"Faster, Azula!" Rokkun encouraged, his voice gruff but laced with a hint of amusement. "You're too hesitant. Attack!"

Azula grinned, her eyes gleaming with a mischievous glint. "As you wish, Rokkun." With a sudden burst of speed, she lunged, her sword a flash of silver. Rokkun, anticipating the move, sidestepped with a graceful agility, his own blade a blur as he countered.

The two continued their dance of death, their movements a testament to their growing skill and their undeniable connection. They were more than just allies; they were partners, equals. Azula, for the first time in her life, felt a sense of belonging, a sense of purpose that transcended her ambition.

From a distance, Taijuk and Oghuz watched the sparring match with a mixture of fascination and unease.

"I still don't trust her," Taijuk muttered, his eyes narrowed. "She's playing him. Using him."

Oghuz, though sharing Taijuk's unease, was more cautious in his assessment.

"Perhaps," he conceded, "but Rokkun seems... different around her. More... alive."

"Alive?" Taijuk scoffed. "He's blinded by her. He doesn't see the danger."

"He's a grown man, Taijuk," Oghuz reminded him. "He can make his own choices. Besides, having an insider to the Fire Nation Royal Family may prove beneficial to our cause."

Taijuk remained unconvinced. "But his choices affect our fates! She's a viper, Oghuz. She'll strike when we least expect it."

Oghuz sighed. "Perhaps. But for now, we must focus on our survival. And if Azula can help us achieve that... then so be it."

He turned back to the training grounds, watching Rokkun and Azula spar with a mixture of apprehension and grudging admiration.

The fate of the Fire Nomads, he realized, might very well rest on the shoulders of these two unlikely allies.
