Q1. Why do you write?
Answer: I write for a couple of reasons: for love and for sanity. For years, I've sat around often daydreaming about characters who were very much alive in my head. It used to drive me crazy. Who were these people? Why were they telling me their stories? So I started putting words on paper and letting them free. Since then, I've fallen in love with writing. It has become my passion. And I hope it shows through my work.
Q2. What inspires you?
Answer: Everything inspires me. It can be a photograph, a single word, or people I see in a café. My eyes are open to every possibility. Music is also a mighty inspiration. Quotes, poetry and lyrics have also been great sources of inspiration for me. Overall, I take everything in and ask myself, "What if?"
Q3. Do you have any strange writing habits, if any, what are they?
Answer: I'm not interesting enough to have a quirky habit. However, my process is a bit different from others, but I've come up with a formula that works for me. It also depends on the story I am writing. The last book I completed (Chasing the Runaway Bride *shameless plug*), I searched for unusual words as chapter titles. Each word gave me an idea on how the chapter will go.
Q4. What book do you wish you could have written?
Answer: The classic "Pride and Prejudice"
Q5. What is your favorite quote?
Answer: "You can never be overdressed or overeducated." -- Oscar Wilde
