Q1. How did you discover Wattpad?
Answer: I first learnt of Wattpad through a convention in Brisbane my home city. It was about the "IFbook" which was helping people like me connect to the internet and be creative online. At first I had no idea as to what I was doing then I was picked up by two poets Orlan and Seasforme they supported me in the ins and outs of this vibrant community. By the six months my poetry hit the top of the list with my Alice adventures , my best collection to date. Not all my madness is good, but most question life and why we are here. I believe we must do this questioning for it is all part of learning. Part of our essential essences of life.
Q2. How much research do you do for you writing?
Answer: With my poems all the research mainly is to do with form not so much content. I write them as whimsical notions that come to me and never force them. I revisit my writings to edit sometimes poems are given this extra treatment. But usually, I allow them to be as they are. My stories are given more attention after they have been written and are checked for correctness and then I research to make sure my content has a good basic truth. This research can be quite extensive and time consuming but well worth the effort so as to make my stories shine.
Q3. Where do you get your inspiration?
Answer: Life and the journey of the road less travelled.
Q4. What is the hardest part of writing for you?
Answer: Editing and finishing what I have written to the best standard to be publishable in the real world.
Q5. What's your favorite quite?
Answer: The sounds of nature, as water running and the breeze rustling the leaves also bird songs. Music reflecting these things also is good and helpful as it sooths the soul. newpoet, Rose
