Your head is slammed against the table as Stone pulls and tugs at your hair. You swat at Stone, exaggerating your playful whines as you scoot further down the booth away from them.

"Botha y'all gotta calm down, we gots ta order soon.. 'n yer bein' real loud, we're gettin' stares.." Guppy lectures the both of you, hiding his face in his menu. Dede snatches the menu from his hands, scanning it as she leans back in the booth. Fixing her posture and squinting her eyes, she spots something she wants. You can tell by her dropped jaw.

"GUUUYS, THEY HAVE MAC AND CHEESE! TEEHEE!" 

Guppy grabs the menu, giving them a mean side eye. "Ain'tchu got yer own menu?"

"Hell no, bitch, give me that shit back, lowkey." She snatches it once more. You open your menu, sliding it to her. "Here, just use mine, Dede."

"Awwww, that's so sweet, thanks, bro. But, HELL NAH, this is my menu, Guppy can have yours."

He takes the menu you slid to her, scooting further down the booth away from Dede as he opens the menu in silence. Dede giggles, shuffling right up against the wall as she continues reading the menu. You move back next to Stone, bumping their shoulder with yours. "Let's share a menu, okay?"

"Aight, bro, whatchu want?"

You slide the menu towards yourself, looking through it.

There are a lot of items you don't recognize..

You've only had steak a few times in your life, whenever your Ma could get her hands on some to make.

She always cooked it weird, but, good nonetheless.
