Y/N AND SUNA WERE OUT FOR BRUNCH when suna noticed something was off with y/n. "you keep playing around with your food. what's wrong?" he asked, putting down his fork. "nothing, just an off day i guess" y/n shrugged her shoulders.
suna took a sip of his coffee and sucked in a breath of air. "i know when you're lying" he said, crossing his arms on the table. "so, tell me angel, what's wrong? is there something you wanna buy but can't?" he prodded, hoping to get an answer out of the girl.
"it's nothing. it's stupid" she shook her head and took a bite out of her omelette. "ah so there is something" he raised his eyebrow. "i just said there wasn't" y/n looked up from her plate.
"you just said 'it's stupid' implying there is something. stop beating around the bush and tell me" he sighed.
y/n put her fork down and sighed. "okay, fine. i was going on a deep dive of your past history and i found out about your ex girlfriend" she confessed, toying with the cloth napkin sitting on her lap. "that's what you're worried about? my ex girlfriend?" he smiled. "what're you smiling about! it's a seriously topic" y/n rolled her eyes.
"it's just funny, sweetheart. we broke up a year ago, she's in the past now. her and i haven't talked since. i actually think she's engaged now or something" he shrugged his shoulders.
"oh. okay. if you say so i guess" y/n replied doubtfully. suna reached out to grab y/n's hand. "i'm serious, y/n. she's nothing to me. the only reason why i know she's engaged is because my parents were making fun of her. honest" he said reassuringly.
"okay, i trust you then"
"good, now keep eating. that food won't disappear itself" he joked half heartedly. "old age is getting to you" y/n rolled her eyes. "oh fuck off"
"what made you jealous in the first place" he wondered. "i don't know. she's your age, probably more mature i guess. and she's really pretty"
"she may be my age but she sure as hell wasn't mature when we were dating. if i only stayed for looks, we would've been married by now" he replied trying to lighten the mood.

LATER, Y/N WAS AT SUNAS HOUSE. "do you wanna order takeout for dinner? i'll leave my card here if you wanna order. i gotta leave for practice soon" suna asked. "i can cook tonight if you want anything in particular" y/n answered, mindlessly scrolling on social media.
"i don't mind. although i could eat omurice right now. regardless, ill leave my card here" he said. "okay" y/n nodded her head.
suna went upstairs to get ready for practice.
when he came back down the stairs, he walked over to y/n who was sitting on the couch. "have you seen my phone?" he asked, feeling around in his hoodie pocket. "it's on the kitchen table" she replied, turning off her phone.
suna grabbed his phone and went back to the living room."i'll leave this here" he said, putting his phone on the coffee table. "why?" she asked. "because i don't have anything to hide" he shrugged his shoulders. "oh, okay" she nodded her head.
"i'll be back at ten ish, eat without me if you don't wanna wait" he kissed her forehead. "okay bye" she said softly. "have a good practice" she said, watching him leave the house.
y/n stared at the phone, contemplating if she should go through it.
she didn't want to violate his privacy, but he did basically imply that she could look through it if she wanted.
she decided against it for now.

IT WAS NOW EIGHT PM and y/n had just finished making dinner for the two. seeing as it was late, and she was hungry, y/n decided to eat first.
she stared at the phone in front of her again. it was almost like it was taunting her. telling her to open it and look through it.
"oh fuck it" she sighed grabbing his phone.
the first app she decided to look through was his instagram dms. there wasn't anything suspicious besides atsumu being his usual self.
next she moved onto snapchat. "what kind of grown man has snapchat?" she chuckled, opening the app. she went through saved pictures and saw pictures of suna from highschool, which made her smile.
after looking at more pictures of suna from highschool, she decided to look through his messages.
and it was true, he truly had nothing to hide.
