keralis pov
After gathering everything and clogging up my inventory to the brim, I started my little delivery route. Each stop wasn’t just about handing off items; it was a chance to chat and catch up with everyone. It was one of my favorite things to do—checking in, seeing how everyone was doing.
First was Jevin. He greeted me with his usual energetic vibe, and we chatted for a bit about his latest redstone contraption. Then I made my way to Pearl’s. She was in the middle of decorating a build, and we exchanged a few tips on aesthetic choices while I handed over her requested supplies.
Next were Zedaph and Tango. Zed was excitedly rambling about some wild experiment he was working on, and Tango chimed in with his own ideas, the two of them bouncing off each other in that familiar chaotic way. It was always fun to be around those two—they had a contagious energy.
After that, I headed to Wels’s place, which meant stopping by Hels’s as well. I greeted Wels with a bright smile, and we exchanged a few jokes before I handed over his items.
“Hels around?” I asked casually, glancing toward the usual spots.
“Nah,” Wels replied with a slight shrug. “He’s busy with Xavier.”
The way he said it made me pause for a second. Busy with what? On second thought, maybe I didn’t want to know. Hels and Xavier together could only mean… well, chaos, probably. I decided not to press further and simply nodded.
“That’s fine. Tell him I stopped by,” I said, giving Wels a warm smile.
“I will,” he assured me.
I moved on, making my way to the next stop on my list, a small smile lingering on my face. Seeing everyone and touching base always left me feeling lighter, even if I didn’t get to see everyone I’d hoped to.
The next stops on my delivery route were Joel and Skizz, two of the newer additions to the server. They weren’t as familiar with my little rounds yet, so I figured this would be a good chance to not only drop off their requested items but also give them a proper taste of what “Keralis-style” hospitality was all about.
First was Joel. I found him up to his elbows in some massive terraforming project. His enthusiasm was infectious, even if it made him a bit oblivious to his surroundings.
“Joel! Delivery from yours truly,” I called out, waving as I approached.
He turned, a bit startled at first, but quickly grinned. “Oh, hey, Keralis! What’s up?”
I handed over the supplies, and we chatted for a bit about his build. He was bursting with ideas, explaining the grand vision he had for the area. I couldn’t help but smile as I listened. Joel’s energy was something else, and it reminded me of the excitement I’d felt when I first joined the server.
Next was Skizz. He was tinkering with something near his starter base, muttering under his breath in concentration.
“Skizz!” I called out cheerfully, causing him to jump a little.
“Geez, Keralis, you scared me!” he said, laughing as he turned to face me.
“Sorry, my bad,” I chuckled, handing him his delivery. “Figured I’d swing by and see how you’re settling in.”
He seemed genuinely touched by the gesture, and we ended up chatting for a while. Skizz had this warm, approachable vibe that made it easy to lose track of time talking to him. He told me about his plans for his builds and how he was adjusting to life on Hermitcraft.
By the time I left, both Joel and Skizz seemed a bit more at ease, and I felt like I’d done my part to make them feel welcome. It wasn’t much, but little moments like these could make all the difference.
