Madelyn is walking the streets of New York, coffee in hand, as she breathes in the cool air. She's got her backpack on, headed to the library to work on some homework. She's been working overtime, taking extra hours of classes to get her degree completed as fast as possible. As she makes her way down the sidewalk, she takes a long sip of her coffee when she sees...
"Thor?" She questions loudly, speeding up as she sees her old friend in civilian clothing. She takes another sip as she gets closer, and he waves at her.
"Madelyn!" Thor greets her, "You remember Loki," Thor points beside him to Loki, standing there in an all black Gucci suit. Madelyn practically spits out her coffee.
She doesn't say anything yet...she knew he wasn't dead, for she saw him after his supposed funeral years ago....
"He faked his death," Thor explains. Madelyn nods, continuing to look up at Loki, their eyes meeting in a knowing gaze, seemingly agreeing that they both recall their run-in while he was pretending to be dead.
"Madelyn," Loki nods at her, eyes never leaving hers as a small smirk dances on his lips.
"Hi," Madelyn manages to get out, clearing her throat as she finally tears her eyes from the enticing mischief-maker.
"We just arrived here to get Odin because Loki just left him at this rubble-" Thor starts.
"I told you I didn't know the retirement home was gonna be torn down. I can't see into the future; I'm not a witch," Loki rolls his eyes.
Madelyn stifles a laugh, but she quickly jumps back as she sees a burning orange circle form underneath Loki.
"What are you doing?" Thor asks Loki who is staring down at his feet.
"This isn't me," Loki says sincerely, looking slightly panicked.
Suddenly, he disappears into the burning orange void. The portal disappears, leaving a card behind on the sidewalk.
"Loki?" Thor taps the card with Mjolnir disguised as an umbrella.
Madelyn bends down and picks up the card.
"177A Bleecker Street?" She reads off the card, studying the address before glancing up at the street sign near them, "Come on."
She leads Thor through the busy streets of New York, guiding him to a building where they both hope to find Loki.

Thor and Madelyn stop in front of the building with Madelyn glancing back down at the card with the address.
"This is it," Madelyn says, glancing at Thor.
"Let's go in then," Thor sighs, leading the way through the doors.
The two step up to the front door, and Thor knocks twice on the door. He goes to knock a third time, but the two of them are suddenly whisked away into a dark room.
"Thor Odinson...Madelyn Lassiter," A voice speaks from the dark.
"God of Thunder....HYDRA Survivor, Starling," The voice says, referring to both of their aliases.
