I heard a knock at my door so i got up out of bed and went to answer it. There stood Jessie.
"What do you want" I asked sighing.
"Just wanted to come and check on my girlfriend is that a crime." He smiled pushing past me to come in.
The words "Girlfriend" coming out of his mouth made me sick, I didn't want to be his girlfriend anymore i wanted this to stop but i knew it couldn't. I needed Madeline to be safe.

"Let's go to your game room, it's quite in there".He said pulling me by the wrist.
We entered the room and sat on the couch.
"I want to stop this, I don't want to do it anymore." I spoke up looking anywhere but at him.
"You know what happens if we stop this don't you." He said grinning slightly.
"You would never hurt her, i won't let you." I spoke up.
"Oh i wouldn't but my guys will." He said letting a laugh out.
"Why would you hurt her, why won't you hurt me instead." I asked.
"Because she makes you happy and you don't deserve that." He said moving closer to me.
"I hope you have fully broken up with her." he said setting his hand on my thigh.
"I have, don't worry about it." I lied straight through my teeth, i couldn't let him know i was still with her. I won't let anything happen to her.
"Good i never want to see you with her ever again" He said pulling me into a kiss.

I didn't want to kiss him but i had to. If i didn't he would know that i was lying, that i was still with her and i wouldn't let that happen. The door suddenly then swung open and there she stud. Madeline.

"Well, Well, Well look who it is." Jessie spoke up.
She just stood there, she looked heart broken and i couldn't blame her. I kissed my ex boyfriend. But it was for her safety i would never do anything to hurt her.
"What's going on" She asked tears pricking her eyes.
"Get out, Billies mine now you don't need to be here." He spoke up once more. The way he was speaking to her made me want to hit him so hard he would never wake up again but i couldn't.
"I think you should go Madeline." I spoke up trying not to let tears fall from my eyes.
She didn't say anything else she just ran out of the house. I hear the front door slam and i shot up. what the fuck have i done. I've messed everything up.

"Get out" I turned to Jessie.
"What?" He looked at me with a confused look on his face.
"I said get the fuck out" I said picking him up by his collar and dragging him to the front door.

After he had left i heard my phone ringing, i ran to it hoping it would be the person i wanted it to be. It wasn't.

"Hello" I spoke, my voice breaking slightly.
"Care to explain why Madeline has just rang me in tears saying she saw you kissing Jessie" He said raising his voice.
"Fuck, she was crying" I said.
"Of course she was fucking crying Billie are you kidding me." He said now shouting at me.
"FUCK MAN" I said before hanging up the phone.

I got into my car and speeded off to Madeline's apartment, i knocked on her door but there was no answer. I knocked again and i heard her sniffle behind the door.

"Please hear me out" I said tears brimming my eyes about to fall at any moment.
"Why, I saw what happened i don't need to hear you out. You kissed him Billie how could you." She spoke up her voice breaking.
"It meant nothing i did it for you." I said now letting to tears fall from my eyes.
"did it for me?" She asked laughing at little.
"Please Madeline let's fix this, don't let this ruin what we have." I said moving closer to her.
"Why would you kiss him Billie." She said moving backwards.
"Because he's going to hurt you if i don't go along with his stupid little plan, he told me he will get his guys to hurt you." I said still crying.
"Why would you just call this whole thing off" She said raising her voice a little.
"You told me to do it, now you want me to stop." I asked confused.
"Yes i want you to stop this all, i want us to go back to normal." She said her eyes filling with tears.
"But he will hurt you Madeline, i won't let that happen to you because of me." I said moving closer once more.
"If it means being with you, i'll take that risk" She said now letting the tears slip from her bloodshot eyes.
"I'll call it off tomorrow with him, i promise the kiss meant nothing i was just trying to protect you Mads, please forgive me." I said.
"I forgive you but i swear if i catch you near that fucking thing again it's over fully. She said letting out a little giggle.
"I promise i will never go near him again."I said giggling aswell.
"Stay the night?" She asked me.
"Of course my love" I say kissing her forehead.

We head up to her bedroom and get ready for bed, Madeline walks out of the bathroom with her hair in french braids and one of my t-shirts on. I just stair at her, i couldn't help it.
"You're staring Eilish." She said making me snap out of my gaze.
"Sorry i can't help it, i just forgot how good you look in my clothes." I say patting the spot next to me in bed.

She climbs in next to me and i pull her into my side, i kiss her forehead as she playing with my hair.
"Goodnight Eilish" She says sounding half asleep.
"Goodnight Green" I say pulling her even closer.
I'm glad to be in bed with her again.
