𝐌𝐀𝐃𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐒 𝐏𝐎𝐕: It was the day after the party and me and Billie were both really hung over. We had spent the morning lounging around on the couch watching tv and eating junk food.
I finally decided that i needed a shower as i still felt dirty from the night before and i swear i have half of someone's vodka red bull in my hair. After a few minutes of contemplating if i should actually get up or not i finally do.
"Where are you going?" Billie asked.
"For a shower i feel disgusting." I say before heading to the bathroom.
𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄 𝐒𝐊𝐈𝐏: I had finished in my shower about an hour ago and now Billie was having one. I was scrolling on instagram when i was a post about kittens being for sale. I screamed, literally screamed.
Then i heard a panicked Billie swinging the bathroom door open and i could tell from the sound it made that there was a dent in the wall. She came running down the hall into the living room before asking me what was up.
"I WANT A KITTEN." I shouted jumping up and down.
"FROM WHERE." She said copying me.
"A LADY POSTED SAYING SHE IS SELLING THEM." I say still jumping.
"LETS GO THEN." She shouted back.
"REALLY!!" I exclaimed.
"YES,CAN WE STOP SHOUTING AND JUMPING NOW?" She asked giggling.
"YES LETS GO." I say before grabbing her hand pulling her to the front door.
We quickly grab our shoes and throw them on before Billie grabbed the keys and we ran over to the car. I connected to the aux and put on the gps to where the lady was selling them before we started the drive.
It was about an hours drive and i was currently only 4pm so we should arrive around 5:30pm knowing LA traffic. The whole way there i couldn't wipe the smile off my face. I had always wanted a kitten since i was a little girl and now it was finally happening.
"What you gonna name it?" Billie asked resting her hand on my thigh.
"I'm not sure, you got any name ideas?" I say back to her.
"Urm not really, depends on what it looks like." She says adjusting her hat which ment she had to drive with her knee.
"Yeah true, i don't really care what it looks like i just really want one." I say grinning.
"We will get you one baby don't you worry." She says lifting my hand up to place a kiss on the back of it.
𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄 𝐒𝐊𝐈𝐏: We had arrived at the house and the lady greeted us at the door. Her name was Anne she was lovely. We walked into the house and we were met with 6 kittens running around in a play pen.
"You can get in with them if you would like, see which one you feel the most drawn to." She states.
Me and Billie don't waste a second before we climb into the pen with them. As soon as we sit down on the floor a little tabby one comes over and sits on my lap. Anna told us that this one didn't really like coming over to people, when the other people came he would hide in the corner.
I took that as a sign that this is the one i should get. I gave Billie and a look and she immediately knew that this is the one i wanted. I picked him up and got out of the pen before i told Anne this is the one i wanted.
As i was playing with him on the floor Billie and Anne walked off into the kitchen, i was in my own world to even realise i still hadn't payed. I stood up off the floor before following there footstep into the kitchen as well before i heard Anne speak up.
"Thank you, i hope you enjoy your new kitten ." She said smiling.
"We will do thank you."Billie said turning around to face me. "Come on Baby let's go home." She said.
We thank Anne and get back into the car with the kitten in its crate strapped in the backseat.
"You know i was going to pay you didn't have to." I spoke up.
"I know but i wanted to." Billie said reversing the car.
"Well thank you." I said smiling.
"Of course, anything to put a smile on my baby's face." She said quickly placing a kiss on my lips.
The drive home seemed to be quicker than the one going there thankfully, i couldn't wait to go home and play with the new member of our family.
