Chapter 13: The Last Day

Ashley P.O.V

I sign my portion of the application thingy. I look at Yelawolf and than at Nancy.
"You can go pack your bags of you want. Nancy and I need to cover a few things."
"Ok." Said and jumpers out of my chair.
I went to my room, I started thinking about how this was the last time I will be in this room. I grab a green, blue and pink duffle bags out of my closet that I soon won't call mine. I lay them out on my bed. I start packing all of my cloths in the green bag. After filling that one, I grabbed the blue one and put all my Yelawolf and old Eminem shirts,CDs and other merch into the bag. I look around my room. I started to look empty after I took my posters down and my slumerican flag. I grab the small pink duffle bag and bring it to the bathroom. I put my toothbrush shampoo and body wash in the bag. I look around and grab my straightener and some tampons. I quickly run back to my room and put all bags together.
I lay on my bed and remember my first day here. I hated it and I wanted to leave. Now that I think about it. I'm really going to miss this place. I sit up and check around my room making sure I didn't forget anything. I found the crescent moon necklace that Nancy got me when I first came here. I never wore it before. Today was different.
I grab the necklace and clip it around my neck. I look in the mirror than smile. I'm happy to leave today. But I know I'm going to miss it. I think about the good times I had with my best friend Hannah. I thought about it for a minute. Than jumped off of my bed. I walked out of my room, and went down the hallway to Hannah's room. I knocked on the door. Hannah opened it and smiled at me.
Now Hannah is different she is my age. And she don't talk that much. One day we were sitting at dinner and one of the girls that where picking on me the other day was picking on her. Well, let's just say I told the girl off and after that she stopped. Hannah came up to my room that night and said thank you. I had never heard this girl say a word. But she did t was great. Than, I invited her into my room so we could TALK and get to know each other and we did and it was great. She slowly became my best friend.
I smile back at Hannah and hugged her.
"Hey girly I haven't seen ya' in a few days wacha been up to lately? I watched your YouTube video. That's true talent."
I know I'm going to mis this girl so much.
"Thank You. You know what can j come in." I pause. "I got some news for you."
"Sure thang sista!!!" She ran and jumped on her bed. I slowly walked in. She started patting on the bed for me to sit down. I took my seat and began to talk.
"So, today I got chosen."
"For what!"
Now Hannah had been in here for a year or two. I have been her only friend.
"I'm getting adopted. Today I'm leaving."
"Oh, that's good. I'm gonna miss you."
"That's the other thing I need to talk about. Your my only friend and I don't want to lose you. Matter fact you are my best friend. You have been there for me. Yeah, we have had our ups and downs but that's what makes us closer. But I want to know if when I leave that if you wanted to still be friends still hang out. I will call you every night and we will text each other all day."
"Of course."
"Do you want to know who my new father is?"
"Yeah! What does he look like."
"Trust me you know what he looks like. My new dad is Yelawolf. No lie he is sitting in Nancy's office now."
Her jaw dropped down to the floor. "You mean like Michael Wayne Atha. Like the crazy amazing raper from Alabama!"
"Dude! Yeah exactly who."
"Oh my god! That is amazing!"
"Yeah it is."
"I hope I leave soon." It sounded like Hannah was about to cry when she said that.
"You will, I promise. I love talking to you but I have to go."
"Ok call me." She said in a low voice. "I'll miss you. Love you sis."
"Love you to."
Than I walked out of her room and into mine. Than not even 5 seconds late there was a knock at the door.
"What" I said.
"Can I come in."
"Oh yeah come in."
Nancy walked into my room.
"Sweetie you have to get going. What!? You are wearing the necklace I gave you the day of your arrival. I didn't even think you kept it."
I just smiled I had nothing say about the necklace. "Ok. I'm heading down stairs now."

Yelawolf P.O.V

After Ashley left I got a ton of questions from Nancy.
"So you are famous. Now, what are you going to do with Ash when you are on tour, traveling all around the United States or even the world."
"Well my plan was to bring her along for the tours. Knowing that she was a die hard fan. I would let her hang out backstage with my buddy's Rittz, Marshall, Paul. I have a lot of friends that I can trust to cull with her until the show is over. Or my other plan was if she didn't want to go I was going to drop her off at Marshall's house and she can hang with his kids. What ever she prefers."
"Who is Marshall?"
"Um. Marshall Mathers. Eminem like the best raper in the world."
"Oh okay. Now what are you going to do about schooling?"
"She has two choices. She can go to school in Tennessee that is closest to my house. Or she can do online schooling it is really up to her on what she wants to do."
"There are a few things I think you should know about her. If you didn't notice when she was in here, she cuts. She does it a lot some of the cuts look like they could use some cleaning up so bringing her to a doctor to get them checked would be best. I never done that because she never let me even look at them. Her and I had a lot a beef as she got older so we really arnt that close. Also, she is anorexic she never eats. She love sausage though. But other than that I have never watched here eat anything. I really hope she breaks this soon."
I thought to myself before I answered. Clearly Nancy didn't care. If I where in her shoes I would do anything and everything to make sure that Ashley would keep cutting and make sure that they were checked by a doctor.
"Ok I understand."
"What is talking that girl so long? I'll be back Michael. Please wait here.
I waited for about five minutes and that I heard them coming down the stairs.
"I'm ready to leave." Ashley said.
I grab some of her bag from her and we walk out of the door.
