Chapter 19: Relapse Awaking

Wow! I really loved last chapter. Sorry it took so long I wasn't for sure how I wanted to write that. I literally re did it like 3 times so I hope you like it. This chapter is going to be short. OMG HAILIE SAID A WORD!!! She is awake. It's about to get good. And like this whole Ashley thing that'd going down is gonna be so hella good stuff! I promise!! VOTE!!!! PLEASE!!!! Alright let's go!

Marshall's point of view.

"Dad?"

I looked over and saw her pretty blue eyes. I ran over and hugged her she is awake. I pushed the buzzer and the doctor walked in. He told me that I could go home tonight and come back tomorrow to check on her. She had to get surgery. But first the cops had to talk to us. I heard screaming and yelling like someone was getting arrested. I blew it off. How does someone get arrested in a hospital!
There was a knock on the door, and a black male walked in.

"Hello Mr.Mathers. I'm De'quen."
He shook my hand.

"You can call me Marshall." I smiled.

"And you must be Hailie. Wow you look just like your dad. I'm glad your alright."

Hailie just smiled.

"So!" I said.

"Um we talked to Ashley before that all went down and we figured some things out. And I want to ask Hailie her side of the story and what is true and not. So Ashley said that you were getting pizza. Is that true?"

"Yeah."she said.

"And there was weed involved in your ride back?"

"I...um.. Yeah.." She said.

"And who's was it?"

I looked at Hailie. I wanna be mad at her for smoking weed but I'm to happy that she is alive. Ashley must have talked her into it

"Mine... I offered it to Ashley."

"What! Why would you do that HAI HAI!"

"I'm sorry dad. Is she alright?"

"Yeah she is heading to the county jail right now."

Hailies face went blank. I looked over at the cop. "What!?"

"She hit a cop."

There was a knock at the door. I walked over and opens it and it was Micheal. I walked out into the hall you could tell he was crying. I gave him a hug.

"Man what's wrong!"

"I lost her Marsh! She is gone."

"I gotta leave anyways so wanna go to the jail she is at and see how much we bail for?"

"Yeah. I'm not in the mood to drive."

Michael threw me his keys. We hoped in and drove to the jail. When we got out and went inside Ashley was sitting in the lobby in normal clothes and no cuffs. I walk up to the girl in the window with Michael.

Michaels POV

"I'm here to bail out Ashley Atha."

"Your her father?"

"Yeah."

"Yep she is free to go. She can come grab he things and she is good to go."

"She don't have to do anytime or community service."

"Nope! Mr Logan mars lied about the whole thing so she got to go free. Mr. De'quan reed told exactly what happen and she just got free."

"Ashley it's been a long day lets go."

Ashley Marshall and I all walked to the truck and I drove back to Marshall's house.

"I think we are going to head back to my place. There is a lot going on and I think it's time to go."

"Awe wolf you ain't gotta go."

"It aight man call me when you figure things out with Hailie."

We packed our things and I gave Marshall our bro hug and left.

MARSHALL POV

**phone rings**

I answer my phone it was the doctor.

"Marshall?"

"Yep that's me."

"We did surgery on Hailies head to try to bring it back down to size it seems as tho she may have permanent brain damage and won't be the same again."

I hung up the phone. And laid on the bed. My phone whistle and I looked at it. It was from Michael.

Hey man,
I just wanted to say that I'm so sorry for this weekend. I hope we can do this again if you don't hate my guts. Let me know about Hailie I really feel bad about the whole thing. Love you brother.

I answer back.

Yo! It's all good I'll call you tomorrow night man love yah. Don't be texting and driving. And none of it is your fault.

After that I felt that urge. I walk into the bathroom and into the medicine cabinet I thought. It's been a few years and popped 8 sleeping pills and went to bed.
