Chapter 12: Todays The Day

Ash P.O.V

I walk down the stares, and go to Nancy's office. The door was shut and locked. I hear noises in there. Two people where talking one was Nancy and the other had a raspy deep voice. I waited a few minutes, took a deep breath and knocked on the door.
"Who is it?" Nancy said.
"Uh..." I was so nervous i sorta forgot my name for a second there. "Ash."
"Oh hold on sweetie. Let me unlock the door."
I hear her get up off the chair and the sound of the lock click. The door opens. She smiles. "Come in."
I sit there nervous. I don't know if I'm ready to meet him. Now the more that I think about it I'm going to miss this place. I hate it but I love it. I've grown up here, and now I'm leaving with a compleat stranger who I know nothing about does he have kids? Is he married? Is he rich pour? I don't know if I wanna be adopted, I've been waiting this long to be adopted, that I don't even know if that's what I want anymore.
Nancy waves her hand In front of my face. "Um hello you there?"
"What!" I said in shock. "Oh, geez. Yeah sorry I was just thinking."
"Oh. Ok. You can come in now."
I take a deep breath and I walk in the room. I didn't see him at first. But I turned to the right. And looked at him.
"Hello. Nice shirt. I see you have a good taste." My heart dropped. Yelawolf wants to adopt me? I stare I don't say a word. This can't be happening. It's just a dream. Or is it? Yelawolfs gonna be my dad?

Yelawolfs P.O.V

She was talking to the Nancy lady for a second. I tryed kind of peaking around the corner to see what she looked like. But I couldn't get a glimpse of her. I gave up. It went silent and than Nancy broke the silence. Than there she was Ashley walked in the room. She was really pretty and had a great taste. She had a Country Fresh t shirt on. The same one in the Way Out video. This girl seems like she would be a die hard fan. I don't think she noticed me right away. I looked at her arms. They where horrible. All cut up. Some of it looked fresh. I was staring at her arms. Than I saw her look over. I smiled. She was expressionless. I complimented her shirt. And I got nothing. I sat there awkwardly. A few minutes go by she hasn't moved.
Than she smiled at me.
"Yelawolf is going to be my dad!" She screamed.
I smiled. "Yes."
She started fan girling a little bit but it didn't bother me.
Nancy handed me a few papers for both of us to sign and than we could go.
