I know I have said it before but I cannot believe those of us closest her to didn't see the depth of her insecurities. I would tell her all the time how wonderful she is, how beautiful she is and how so incredibly smart she is. I guess children expect to hear these words from their parents. Mom and Dads that are reading her poetry please do more than tell them - show them, maybe that will help them to accept they are the truly wonderful young people we all know they are.
I know I thank you frequently for following Nichole's journey but thank you is not expressive enough. You are allowing me to share a part of my beautiful baby girl with you and that humbles me more than I can express. Please don't forget to vote.
