The car ride home was pretty silent expect for him lecturing me on Shawn. I just sat there and didn't answer so he just stopped talking. I got home and took my bag into my room and started doing my homework. I finished math at the tryout so at least that was out of the way. About an hour later I heard a knock on my door.
"Can I come in" I heard Mark say
"I don't know are you going to be my brother or my body guard." I said
"Well since I'm your older brother I am your body guard" Mark said walking into my room and sitting on my bed.
"Hello there" I said looking at him sitting on my bed.
"I just don't want you getting hurt." Mark blurted out
"He won't hurt me. I really like him Mark, and I think he likes me." I told Mark
"Yes but that is how he hooks them. He plays Mr. Nice guy and then use you." Mark said
"I love that your looking out for me, I really do but he's different with me" I said.
Mark sighed.
"I couldn't live with myself if I let you date him and he ended up breaking your heart. I just couldn't. You're my little sister." Mark said
"I'll be careful Mark and if he does break my heart, you can beat him up!" I said as we both laughed.
"I'll talk to him." Mark said.
MARK POV
Sara really likes Shawn so I have to go talk to him about it. I can't have her get hurt by him.
I texted Shawn and said I'll be at his house in 10 minutes. I pulled up and walked to his doorstep. I rang the doorbell and he answered.
"We can talk in my room" Shawn said walking up the stairs as I follow. I sit on his chair and he sits on his bed.
"My sister really likes you" I say as he turns to me.
"Really" he says with a grin on his face
"Dude, really" I said
"Sorry" he said
"How do you feel about Sara" I asked a bit scared to hear the answer.
"I really like her man. She's different than the others. She makes me wanna change and just makes me feel different. I don't know how to explain it" Shawn said
"Do you really feel this way?" I asked.
"Most definitely" he said "I've always had my eyes on her but I only knew her through Kiera. Lately we've became really close and I really like her dude." He said
"Ok, I swear to god if you hurt her I am going to kill you." I said as we both laughed a bit.
"I'm serious though" I said
I stayed a bit just talking about stuff and then I saw the time and thought I should head home.
"Bye Shawn. You better treat her right." I said as I walked out the door.
