"Let’s head back for now. I’ll call Shoto," Endeavor said gruffly, his tone final. I nodded, stuffing another piece of dorayaki into my mouth.

As we walked, something clicked in my mind. I turned to him abruptly. "Do you have a bandage?"

He glanced at me, his brow furrowing. "Why? You aren’t injured."

I waved off his concern, speaking around my mouthful of food. "Just give it to me if you’ve got one."

With a sigh, he reached into his utility pouch and handed over a roll of bandages. "Just how many of those dorayaki did you buy?"

I smirked, holding up another one teasingly. "Do you want one?"

We locked eyes, a brief standoff of stubbornness. Then, without waiting for his reply, I placed one in his hand. "Here. Consider it a peace offering," I said, chuckling softly.

As he reluctantly bit into the sweet, I unrolled the bandage and began wrapping it around my eyes.

"Is that really necessary?" he asked, watching me with a mix of curiosity and irritation.

I sighed, already knowing where this was going. "Yes, it is," I replied, securing the knot behind my head.

"And why’s that?" he pressed, arms crossed.

I adjusted the bandage, making sure it sat snugly, before turning my head toward him. "It's because of my Six Eyes," I said plainly.

He raised an eyebrow. "I don’t know the concept.as Eraser said you would be the one to. "

"Okay. Like It’s what gives me my edge in battle," I explained, letting a small smirk tug at my lips. "Think of it like this: my eyes allow me to perceive the world in a way most people can’t even begin to imagine. I can see the flow of energy, the composition of everything around me, and even predict movements before they happen. Nothing escapes my sight—not even the smallest detail."

Endeavor grunted. "Sounds like a handy quirk."

I shook my head slightly. "It’s not just handy—it’s overwhelming. That’s why I use the bandage. If I didn’t, my brain would be processing too much information all at once. Every single molecule, every shift in energy, every detail—imagine trying to focus on a conversation while reading a thousand books at the same time. It’s exhausting."

He looked at me, his expression unreadable. "So, you’re saying it’s more of a burden if you don’t control it."

"Exactly," I said, slipping my hands into my pockets. "The Six Eyes are a blessing and a curse. They make me untouchable in combat, but if I leave them uncovered for too long, the strain could completely wipe me out. Worst case, it could kill me."

Endeavor’s gaze softened, if only slightly. "So the bandage is a limiter."

"Smart deduction, big guy," I said, smirking again. "The bandage keeps me grounded. It filters out the unnecessary details so I can focus on what matters. Otherwise, I’d be distracted by useless stuff—like the exact number of sweat glands on your forehead."

He frowned, clearly unimpressed with my jab. "You’re lucky you’re useful," he muttered, but I caught the faintest glimmer of respect in his tone.

I chuckled under my breath. "Yeah, yeah. You’d miss me if I wasn’t around."

Endeavor didn’t respond at first, his eyes fixed firmly on the road ahead. I stepped in front of him, shoving my hands deep into my pockets. The silence between us stretched for a moment, heavy but oddly charged.

“Listen,” he finally said, his voice gruff yet hesitant.

“What?” I asked, glancing back at him.
