Chan's POV

I came home after a long time of work and I took off my jacket

"Honey, I'm home!-" Suddenly, I forgot what happened last few weeks ago

I sighed, and I walked to the kitchen, and I opened the fridge if there were any leftovers, and I grabbed the last plate with leftovers and put in the oven to warm it up

I looked at the fridge and I smiled, I saw drawing which Helena made

"She is such an artist," I thought as I turned on my phone, and I had a photo of me with Helena sitting on my shoulders

We were at the beach as I remember it and I also remembered who took the photo

The oven was making noises, so my food was ready, and I grabbed my plate, and I walked to the dining table

I sat down on a chair, and I looked outside. It was cold outside and it was soft raining

I looked down at my plate as I played with my half cold food, and I sighed

After I decided to split up from my ex-husband Hyunjin, everything went so fast. He took most of his stuff back to his parents, and he also took Helena with him during the week, and I have her during the weekends

The next day

I knocked on the familiar door. It was from my ex-husband's parents, and the door got opened, and I saw Hyunjin's mother standing

"Hi, I come to pick up -"

"Daddy!" Helena brightly shouted as she ran into my arms, and I hugged her tight

"Hi, princess," I whispered, and I picked her up and put her on my arm

"I missed you~" she said, and I smiled

Suddenly, I saw hyunjin standing beside his mother with Helena's bag, and he handed it to me

He only stared at me, and we didn't say anything to each other, and before I could say something, the door was closed in front of my face

I sighed, and Helena looked at me

"Daddy?" Helena asked me, and I looked at her

"Can we go to the park?" She asked me, and I voluntarily

"Of course, Princess, everything you want." I smiled, and I walked to my car with Helena in my arms

After a few minutes

We were at the park, and Helena was playing with some other children at the playground, and I was watching her from a couch

"Chan? Is that really you?" I heard a familiar voice, and I looked in the direction, and I saw Felix standing

Felix was an old friend of mine from college

"Oh my God, it's really you." he smiled, and he walked to me, and I smiled

"You have changed nothing since college" he chuckled as he looked at me from the top to the bottom

"And still wearing black" he winked, and I slightly smiled

"What you're doing here?" He asked me as he sat down beside me on the bench

"I'm here with my daughter," I said as I pointed to Helena, who was playing with a girl and boy

"That's so funny, you see the boy and girl she's playing with are my children, well my husband and I" He said and I looked at him with a smile

"Jace and Naomi are the twins we adopted" He added, and he waved to his daughter

"I heard you are married to hyunjin, right? I remembered you crushing on him for weeks, and then you finally found the courage to ask him out, " he said, and I accepted

“How's he?” He asked and I looked a bit down

"Hyunjin and I are no longer together. We just split up  a few weeks ago, " I said, and I heard Felix quietly gasping

"I'm so sorry," he apologized, and I slightly smiled

"Honey, are you coming?!" We heard a man shouting, and Felix looked back, and he shouted

"I'm coming!"

He got off the bench, and he looked back at me

"I'm sorry" he whispered, and he walked away from me, and he walked to the men

The man grabbed his hand, and that's probably his husband

Again, I sighed, and I got off the bench, and I called for Helena it was time to go home

When we were walking back to my car, we passed an old wooden bridge, which I remembered

It was the bridge I asked him to marry

it was spring, the birds were singing their songs, the squirrels were running around, the sakura blossoms were in bloom, and hyunjin and I were walking on the red pointed wooden bridge

Hyunjin was feeding the ducks and when he turned around, I was sitting on one knee asking him to marry me, and he excitedly said yes. I put the ring around his finger, and he jumped into my arms

It was a nice memory, and when I looked back the bridge, it was old, and the red paint was fading. Most of the birds were gone, and the squirrels were in winter. Rest

The next day

I was playing with Helena and her dolls but suddenly the bell rang so I walked to the front door and I opened the door and I saw hyunjin standing

Normally, he would pick Helena in the evening. He's early

"I come here to pick Helena" he said, and I could hear no emotion in his voice. It was cold

"Helena is playing with her dolls, and you are early," I said, and hyunjin annoyingly sighed

"I want to day spent time with my daughter" he said

"Can I come in?" He asked me, and I nodded

I closed the door behind him, and he walked to Helena

"Daddy!" I heard her shouting brightly

"Hi, my sweet girl" I heard him softly talking to her, and I heard them talking

"Come, let's get your bag and jacket," he said, and Helena hummed

I turned around, and I gave Hyunjin Helena's jacket and her bag, and he helped him with getting ready

I wanted to help him, but hyunjin coldy said, "I don't need your help."

He grabbed Helena's back and her hand, and I opened the front door

"I will come back with the signed divorce papers and pick up some stuff of mine," he said, and I nodded

He smiled when I closed the door and I walked to the stairs and I sat down on the stairs and I started to cry

"I made a huge mistake"
