Inaara sat in her cabin, her focus entirely on the screen of her laptop, her fingers dancing across the keyboard as she worked on her latest project.

The quiet hum of the air conditioner filled the room, her space devoid of interruptions until a soft ping from her phone broke her concentration.

She frowned slightly and reached for the device, her gaze narrowing at the notification.

Ishu had sent her a video.

Curious, Inaara clicked on it, and the screen lit up with a fan-made montage.

The video showcased clips from the charity event she and Atharv had attended.

The footage began with her and Atharv posing for photographs, his hand resting firmly and possessively on her waist.

The crowd's cheers seemed to echo through the short clip, but it wasn’t the sound that held her attention.

It was the moment when Atharv leaned down and whispered something in her ear, prompting her to smile.

The video slowed, zooming in on Atharv’s expression as he looked at her.

His gaze was tender, almost adoring, as though he were completely enamored by her smile.

A soft caption appeared at the end of the clip: “Some people are just meant to be together forever.”

The comments section was filled with admiration:
“Couple goals!”
“They’re so perfect together.”
“The chemistry is unreal.”

Inaara stared at the screen, her lips curling into a bitter smile.

She let out a soft chuckle, one laced with sarcasm.

“How good this façade looks,” she murmured to herself, her voice low, yet dripping with disdain.

“The media has such a convenient way of spreading lies. It makes it look like we’re drowning in love, like we’re the perfect couple. But the truth?”

Her fingers hovered over the delete button.

“The truth is far from it. How easy it is to fool people with a few photos and some well-edited clips. They’ll believe anything.”

Without hesitation, she deleted the video and locked her phone, tossing it aside on the desk.

The reality of her relationship weighed heavily on her as she leaned back in her chair, rubbing her temples.

Meanwhile, in his own office, Atharv leaned back in his chair, his eyes glued to his phone.

His normally impassive expression softened as he played the same video—again.

He didn’t know how many times he’d already watched it, but every time felt like the first.

His fingers traced the screen as Inaara’s smile filled it.

His expression shifted, a rare, goofy grin spreading across his face.
