Author’s Note 💌

Hey everyone!

First of all, I’m really sorry for posting late. I got caught up with a few things and also took a short break from Wattpad.

Honestly, I needed it.

But when I logged back in after two months, I was honestly shocked and hurt by what I saw.

There were so many comments — and not the kind that make a writer smile.

Some were downright abusive, directed at me and my characters.

One even said this was “the shittest book they ever read” and “a total waste of time.” Most funny (and kind of ironic) is that the same person said all that not even reading half the book.

I politely requested them to finish the book first before judging it — because, come on, it’s unfair to call something bad without even reaching the heart of the story.

But instead of understanding, they said, “You posted it publicly, so be prepared for criticism.”

And that’s what hurt the most. Because there’s a difference between criticism and abuse.

Constructive criticism helps an author grow — but using hateful words, mocking the characters, or demeaning someone’s effort is not criticism, it’s cruelty.

It honestly broke my spirit for a while.

I lost the motivation to even write the bonus chapter. I questioned myself and my writing.

But then… I remembered all of you — the real readers, the ones who waited patiently, who believed in the story, in Atharv and Inaara, and in me.

So, I decided not to let a few bitter words overpower the love this story has received.

This bonus chapter is for you — the readers who stayed, supported, and understood. ❤️

It’s going to be a lighthearted one — filled with cute, funny, and romantic moments from Atharv and Inaara’s life.

A few scenes are 18+, so if you’re uncomfortable, feel free to skip them.

Thank you to everyone who stood by this story and gave it love when it needed it most. You’re the reason I’m still writing. 🥺💫

With love,
— Author 🤍

The room was enveloped in the silence of the early morning.

It was 4 AM, and the city outside was still fast asleep.

Atharv and Inaara lay cuddled up in their king-sized bed, the soft rhythm of their breathing the only sound breaking the quiet.

Suddenly, a sharp, unfamiliar pain sliced through Inaara’s lower abdomen, pulling her out of sleep.

Gasping softly, she gingerly got out of bed, holding her abdomen as she stumbled towards the washroom.
