Atharv Rajvansh stood tall beside Inaara, his presence radiating command, his hands buried calmly in his pockets as his eyes bore into Isla Barn with a silent fury.
His voice, calm yet laced with ice, broke the heavy silence that cloaked the room.
"I must say," he began, each word sharp and deliberate, "you are brave. Standing here, in my home, speaking filth about my wife."
Isla Barn's breath caught.
Her pupils dilated with disbelief as she stumbled a step back.
"Wi... Wi... Wife?" she stammered, her voice shaky, fingers curling at her sides.
"She... sh-she is your wife?"
"Yes," Atharv replied, without blinking.
His jaw was clenched, the muscles in his face sharp and unforgiving.
"You made a grave mistake by laying your hands on my wife. And believe me-" he took a step forward, "-you will not be spared."
Isla's throat moved as she swallowed nervously, trying to summon defiance.
"You... you can't do anything!" she barked, her voice laced with desperation.
"There's no law... no law against girls harassing girls!"
Atharv tilted his head slightly, as if amused by her ignorance.
His smirk was cold, bone-deep.
"You're standing in Atharv Rajvansh's empire," he said softly, his tone more threatening than a shout.
"Everything here happens by my will. So, as Inaara gave you her punishment... now it's my turn."
He pulled out a folded document from the inner pocket of his coat and extended it toward her with slow precision.
"Here," he said, voice devoid of mercy.
"This is your punishment."
With trembling fingers, Isla took the letter.
Her eyes scanned the paper, and her face drained of all color.
The document quivered in her grasp.
Her lips parted in disbelief. Then, suddenly, a scream tore from her throat.
"No!" she shrieked.
"Th-this... this can't happen!"
Atharv raised an eyebrow, lips curving into a dark, satisfied smile.
"You are blacklisted from working in Australia," he said with cutting clarity.
"And your passport has been banned in your country."
A collective gasp filled the air. Inaara's eyes widened, her hand rising to her mouth in shock.
Beside her, Nandita's expression froze, disbelief clouding her features.
Isla staggered backward. "You can't do this!" she cried, nearly hysterical now, the letter crumpled in her hand. "You can't-!"
