Double Update....

The afternoon sun cast a warm glow through the large glass windows of Inaara's office, highlighting the neat stacks of files on her desk.

She leaned back in her chair, stretching her fingers before picking up her phone.

Dialing the familiar number, she waited as the call connected.

"Hello, beta," Sangeeta's voice came through, warm and affectionate.

"You won't believe it-I was just about to call you, and here you are!"

Inaara smiled, a soft chuckle escaping her lips.

"Really, Maa? Maybe our thoughts were in sync."

She adjusted the sleeves of her pastel-colored kurta, her voice gentle.

"How are you? I actually called to ask about your reports. Your regular check-up... Is everything okay?"

Sangeeta sighed lightly, but her tone remained reassuring.

"Yes, beta. Everything is good. And Arjun's reports are fine too-just a slight vitamin deficiency, nothing to worry about."

Inaara exhaled in relief. "That's good to hear, Maa."

She twirled a pen between her fingers absentmindedly.

After a brief pause, Sangeeta spoke again.

"Beta, I was just about to mention-four days from now, it's Mummy ji's shradh. Every year, we hold a small puja in her memory, just with family and close relatives."

Inaara sat up straighter, listening attentively.

"Yes, Maa."

"I told Atharv about it," Sangeeta continued, "but he might have forgotten in his busy schedule. So, I wanted to remind you both."

Inaara nodded, though Sangeeta couldn't see her.

"Okay, Maa. Should I come earlier to help with the preparations?"

A soft chuckle came from the other end.

"No, beta. There isn't much to prepare. I'll handle everything. But I will send you an outfit-please wear that, alright?"

Inaara's lips curled into a small smile.

"Of course, Maa."

A comfortable silence settled between them for a moment before Sangeeta's voice turned gentle, hesitant.

"Inaara... is everything alright between you two?"

Inaara glanced at the pen in her hand, her fingers stilling.

She let out a slow breath, her voice steady yet thoughtful.

"Slowly... everything is getting better, Maa. Atharv is proving himself."

A pleased sigh came from Sangeeta.
