The morning sun cast a warm glow over the terrace, where Inaara was tending to her small garden.
The gentle rustling of leaves and the faint chirping of birds filled the air.
Dressed in a simple cotton kurta, her hands were covered in soil as she carefully repotted a small flowering plant.
The faint scent of wet earth mixed with the morning breeze.
Footsteps echoed on the terrace stairs, followed by the soft panting of a dog.
Inaara looked up to see Atharv approaching, fresh from the gym, his black workout T-shirt slightly damp with sweat.
His sharp features looked more relaxed than usual, a bright smile stretching across his face.
Dobby, the golden retriever, trailed behind him, wagging his tail eagerly.
“Good morning,” Inaara greeted, wiping her hands on a small towel beside her.
“You’re late today.”
Atharv ran a hand through his slightly damp hair and exhaled, still catching his breath.
“Very good morning, Inaara. Yeah, I got a little late.”
Inaara’s gaze shifted to Dobby, who sat beside Atharv, wagging his tail with excitement.
“Ohh, Dobby also accompanied you? Not bad.”
Hearing his name, Dobby let out a happy whimper, his tail wagging even more vigorously as if he understood the compliment.
Atharv chuckled and took a step closer.
“Inaara, are you free today? Any plans?”
Inaara brushed a stray strand of hair behind her ear.
“No, nothing. Why?”
“I was thinking we should spend the day out today,” he said casually, watching her reaction.
She looked up at him, curiosity flickering in her eyes. “Okay.”
Atharv nodded, pleased with her quick agreement.
“Tell me where you want to go.”
“Me?” Inaara pointed at herself, slightly surprised.
“Yes, Inaara. Your choice,” he confirmed, watching her expectantly.
Inaara tapped her chin thoughtfully.
“Can we go to a mall? I need to buy some casual clothes. Formal and partywear outfits come directly from the designer, but I was thinking of getting some casual ones myself.”
She paused for a moment, then quickly added, “Oh, no… you don’t go to malls. All your clothes are designer-made. We can go somewhere else.”
