A/n: I ain't gone lie this has been half complete in my drafts for months, but I just didn't have the time/energy after exams to finish it. I also remember not liking it at the time, but it was always the ending I intended to write. So here it is gang.

The next morning after the date, Finney wastes no time as he races through the school doors, attempting to get to the back of the school as quickly as he could.

He tries his best to speed down the hallways, even ignoring Gwens' cries to tell him to slow down and calm down. But he doesn't listen.

He's not as fast as he wants to be.

His legs felt shakey and weak, and he knew they would cave in any minute if he stopped, so he continued.

He could feel the tears prick his eyes, causing them to burn, begging for release, but he doesn't dare let them fall. Because he knew if he began to cry now, he might never be able to stop.

He knew what he needed. The only thing that could keep him calm and direct him away from the ideas in his head. He knew he needed Robin.

Gwenny must've given up on Finney, as he couldn't hear her voice or her set of footsteps behind him anymore.

Finn ignores the stares he's receiving as he finally reaches his destination, the back of the hallway.

Without any more thought, he pushes open the door and rushes swiftly over to where Vance and Robin are laughing and joking around with each other.

"Robin." He attempts to grab the boys' attention, but his voice is too feeble and shakey to be heard by the other. "Robin!" He tries again, and this time, his attempt works.

Robin turns to him and instantly smiles. "Hey F-"

"It's over." Finney's voice cracks, and the tears he had been trying so hard to hold back from going astray roll down his face anyway like the raindrops in a thunderstorm. There's so many that he actually begins to feel like he's drowning from the tears. "It's all over."

Robin's face drops to worry. Him and Vance share a quick glance at each other, wearing the same troubled look as each other. What was he talking about? "Finn? What's wrong? What's over?" Robin questions as he pushes himself up and towards Finney.

Finney opens his mouth to explain, but no words come out. His throat is too tight, and every time he attempts to speak, he fails miserably.

"I-i can't." Finn chokes out, making Robin even more worried for him.

Robin raises one of his hands, attempting to cup his boyfriend's face in comfort, but as Finney flinches away from his touch, Robin has to retreat his hand back down to his side.

"Finn. I can't help you if I don't know what's wrong. Just relax and talk to me. Do you think you can do that?" Robin speaks so softly and patiently. He doesn't care if this takes a whole day he just wants to know that Finney is okay. He can't live until he knows his dearest Finn was okay.

Finney looks at the boy, giving him an unsure nod. He tries to compose himself for Robin. He tells himself he can relax now that he was there right now in front of him. He tells himself that nothing else mattered in that moment. And for a second, he tricks himself into believing that everything is all okay.

"After our date last night, I tried to sneak back in unnoticed, but when i -" He begins to explain the story, pausing it to take a shakey breath. "When I crawled back through my window, my dad was sitting in my room waiting for me..."

"What!? Why was he-what?" Robin's words fall over each other, his face twisting and morphing with different expressions as he tries to make sense of it all.
