I heard Chanyeol trying to supress his voice, probably to prevent me from waking up. But I could still hear him try not to yell at whoever he is talking to. I've never heard Chanyeol this angry, but then again, I don't even know Chanyeol that much. I decided to get out of the room to drink water. And when he noticed me, he quickly ended the call, his frown turned into a smile. His quick shift of emotion is scary.

"How's your sleep?" He inquired.

"Fine." I said and smiled at him.

Then I went to the kitchen to drink water. I noticed him follow me. I looked behind me, and he did. I really wanted to ask him what was that about, but that's none of my business, and he might find it weird if I asked. I just stared at him. I think I made him uncomfortable because he looked away. I even caught a glimpse at his ears slowly turning red.

"Do I make you uncomfortable?" I asked him.

"What? No..." He looked at me and smiled. "It's just... I'm not used to it."

I raised my brow at him. "What?"

"I mean, being alone with you." He smiled at me sheepishly.

"Don't be!" I laughed at him. "You're my boyfriend, after all." I suddenly realized what I said, and it was my turn to feel awkward.

We were both silent, then I decided to go back to my room. I guess he felt that way, too. I can't believe it. After Chanyeol told me he's starting to like me, the term "boyfriend-girlfriend" has become something I feel a bit awkward with. I don't want to use that word to describe him, but I like him. It's probably because I don't know him that much.

He's been nothing but nice to me, though. He's taking care of me well. I think that should be my responsibility since I am older than him, but he dislikes being taken care of. Well, what's there to lose? I should like him back, right? Since we're gonna end up together anyway. Not that I'm trying to think ahead of him, but I know my dad. And I know business. Business-minded people will only marry money. And since my dad can't marry again, he wants me to do it, in his stead.

I heard my phone ring, so I checked my table. I saw Tiffany's name on the screen. I answered the call and almost put the phone on my ear when I heard her scream loudly. I was surprised and put it on speaker, instead.

"What is it, Tiffany?" I asked her.

"I have to tell you something important. Where are you?"

"I'm with Chanyeol." I told her.

"When will you be home!?"

"Next week?" I know where this is going.

"Can you go home earlier?" She pleaded. I knew it.

"Nope. You'll have to wait until I get home." I said with finality.

"Please?" She's doing it again...

"Tiffany, I swear, this better be important." I told her and ended the call.

Of course, how can I say no to Tiffany? Especially now that she sounds really serious. She says it's something about Seohyun. I felt bad about leaving Chanyeol behind, though. He said Tiffany should be my first priority since she's my best friend, but I don't think he means it. He used the resort as his excuse, saying there will be potential investors that will visit it. But he became cold after I told him about it.

Chanyeol's driver sent me home. I changed into my white shirt, shorta and flat shoes. I also brought with me my phone, car keys and some cash. Tiffany even texted me to bring snacks and drinks. If she did say this was important, I'd think she's on her period right now.

When I arrived, I quickly went to her room. I didn't bother knocking because she knows I'll arrive. When I entered her room, it was as gloomy as last time. It's also neat, and obviously, she changed her wallpaper. From pastel pink to neon pink. I placed the snacks on her table, then sat on her bed. I saw her get out of her closet, and she looked like she's ready to party.

"Okay, what's up?" I asked her.

"Okay, listen to me first, okay!?" She said and held my hand. "Seohyun is not who she seems to be."

"What do you mean?" I asked her.

"I mean, I hope what I saw was just a trick of the light or something, but I saw Seohyun locking lips with... someone." She looked like she was trying to remember something. "But I never heard Seohyun talk about him or any boy at all."

"Tiff, it must've been someone else." I said to calm her down. "Or if she does have a boyfriend, then let's be happy for them."

"That's not it!" She said and looked around. She then got up and took her phone from the couch and opened something. Then showed me the photo. "It's a fucking waiter!"

I looked at the photo closely. Then I looked at her and laughed. "Tiffany, seriously?"

"I'm just concerned. She's our friend, after all!" She defended before I could even tell her off. "And besides, I wouldn't make you go all the way here just to gossip about our friend's relationship." She pulled something from her bedside table. "See this."

I just shook my head in disbelief. There's no stopping Tiffany, alright. When I took out the contents of the envelope, those were pictures of... Seohyun going inside a hotel? I looked at the other pictures, and Tiffany was right! It's not just about our friend's relationship. But it looks like they're so... I don't know? Used to it?

"What are you trying to say, Tiffany?" I asked her.

"I'm not judging our friend based on those pictures. But she needs to tell us the truth. We are her best friends."

Before I could speak, I heard someone knock on the door. I turned to it, and I was surprised to see Seohyun. She looks like she wasn't prepared for this. I mean, She's still wearing her corporate clothes. She's obviously from her office. And her hair's a mess! She's probably very busy with all their business since Kris decided to call it quits.

"What's going on?" Seohyun's smile faded when she saw the pictures I was holding. She quickly went and grabbed the pictures from me. "Where did you get this!?"

"Seo..." I heard Tiffany speak. Seohyun turned to her. "I had you followed."

Seohyun was not surprised, but I felt like we betrayed her. I mean, I just found out about it today, but I feel like I betrayed one of my bestfriends. Then I heard her chuckle. I looked at her, and she was was smiling at Tiffany. She looks scary despite the angelic smile plastered on her face.

"So... Now you know who I am. Do you hate me now?" She said and tore the pictures in front of us. "I don't even care if anyone finds out." She said and was about to leave the room, but I stood up to catch her.

"Seo, it's not like that. It wasn't Tiffany's intention." I said.

"Then why did you have me followed, huh?" She looked at Tiffany, who is now on the verge of crying.

"Because... I don't want you to keep secrets from us, your best friends." And it's official. She finally cried.
