Taeyeon: 21

It's been a week since Baekhyun and I left. I texted Seohyun and Tiffany to watch over my dad, and that I am safe. I trust Baekhyun. They don't know who I am with, but I will tell them eventually. At first, they've bombarded me with calls and messages. But eventually, they just let it slide and told me to always be careful. I don't know where we are, though. But I could the waves, and even smell the sea breeze.

At first, Baekhyun didn't want to tell me where we are. After being noisy for an hour, he finally gave in and said we're in a resort. I'm assuming this is far from where we live because we rode a plane. If I could see right now, I'd like to walk around the shore and just relax. But here I am, stuck in my room because I am blind.

Fortunately, I am able to rest well. I could sleep without thinking too much. I can't abuse this, though. I know my priorities. I left because I want my dad to be safe. After I regain my sight, I am going to meet up with Chanyeol and Hani. If I can't come to them, I'll find a way for them to come to me. I am not crazy, but this needs to stop once and for all.

I opened my eyes, and I was surprised to see a little bit of light. I blinked a few times, and I could still see the small light. I closed my eyes for a few minutes, and when I opened, I could see the room. The white curtain, the white leather couch, the white bed sheet, the room painted in pastel yellow, and the large flat screen tv. I can see...

"Taeyeon..." I heard Baekhyun call, and I turned to him. I could feel tears streaming down my face, I looked at his shocked expression and placed the tray of breakfast on the table. He quickly ran to my side and sat down beside me. He hugged me, caressing my back. "What's wrong?"

"Baekhyun... I can see." I said that, and he let go of me, only to look at me in the eye. "Really!?"

"Yes!" I said, and he hugged me again. Tighter, this time. "Let's visit a doctor today to be sure about some things." I nodded as a response, even though I buried my face in his chest.

He stood up, and I followed him. We both sat on the couch and he placed the food in front of me. I started eating. He also took one plate and started eating his food. I am amazed by his choice of food. Everyday is entirely different, especially breakfasts. I sipped on my orange juice, and continued eating. I can finally see what I'm eating.

We arrived at the hospital, and we quickly walked towards the elevator. He led me to a room, and I saw the receptionist at the counter, kinda like she's expecting us- or rather- Baekhyun. She smiled at him, and he smiled back.

"Dr. Kim is expecting you." She smiled wider at him. Is she even aware I am here?

"Yeah thanks." He turned to me and extended his hand. "Let's go?" I nodded and grabbed his hand.

We both went to the doctor's office, and the doctor greeted us with a faint smile and a handshake.

"Baekhyun. How are you?"

"I'm fine, Soohyun."

"Is she the patient?" I saw Baekhyun nod, and then the doctor turned to me. "Okay, let's see."

He ran various tests, and he told me that I'm perfectly fine now. I just need to be careful with my eyes, and that I should always eat healthy food. Baekhyun took out his wallet to pay for Dr. Kim's services, but he shoved his hand away, frowning at Baekhyun.

"Are you serious? After all those years of being friends?"

"I'm sorry, Soohyun." He smiled at him. "Thank you."

"Better." He said and smiled at us.

"And can I ask for one more favor?" Dr. Kim nodded. "Please keep this a secret."

"Anything for you, Baekhyun." He said, and we left the doctor's office.

Baekhyun waited for me, and he held my hand when we walked outside the hospital. I looked around, and I can tell that we are really far away from home. I smiled at him, not knowing what to say. Is it okay for me to be slightly happy now that I'm far away from all the drama? From all the danger? Because I feel happy right now.

"I gotta show you something." He said and dragged me to his car.

When we rode down his car, I was taken aback by the food on the backseat. "Where'd you get all this?" I asked him.

"Well, your majesty, I bought food while you were asleep." He glanced at me and winked.

"Well, sorry my prince for falling asleep on your majestic horse." I played along, and he laughed. "So where are we going, anyway?"

"Somewhere beautiful." He said and drove fast.

He pulled over a bridge. The view looks so pretty. The sun is setting, and I smiled. I could feel the tears fall from my face, but I don't care. I'm just too happy that I could see again. I felt him hug me from behind, his chin resting on my shoulder. I caressed his arm and I opened my eyes again. The sun is so beautiful.

"Hey..." He said and cupped my face. "Why are you crying?"

"I just feel happy. I can see again!" I said and he hugged me again. "I'm so happy..."

We stayed like that for a few minutes. I heard my stomach growl, but I tried to suppress my hunger, but my stomach growled again. This time, I am sure he's aware of my hunger because he chuckled loudly. He let go of me and held my hand. He smiled at me and kissed my forehead.

"Let's go inside the car and eat." He said and laughed. I just frowned at him and went inside his car.

I took the food and started eating the chicken burger. I grabbed the fries and fed him. He just laughed and ate it. I kept on feeding him because he's driving. He would just smile at me and eat whatever I feed him. We stopped in front of a hotel, and by the looks of it, I think this is where we stayed for a couple of days. I smiled at him as he opened the door for me. He offered his hand to me and I took it. We walked together, and I noticed him grab me by the waist. It took me by surprise, but I'm fine with it.

When we arrived in our room, I quickly took off my shirt, only wearing a black tank top. I turned around to see Baekhyun take off his shirt, too. He stared at me, and for a moment, I was nervous. He walked towards to me, and the closer he gets, the sweatier I feel. I sat down on our bed and closed my eyes. Am I ready? I think I am.
