I quickly went to his side and called for help! Damn it! What the fuck is happening with my life!? A maid saw me, and I told her to call for help! He smiled at me, and I looked at his wound! I hope he didn't stab himself deeply! Motherfucker! Why did you have to do this in front of me!?

"Chanyeol! Don't you dare sleep!" I said, and he just laughed. "Damn it!" Your wound will bleed if you laugh!

"My life is a mess, Taeyeon." He said and I saw a tear fall from his eyes. "Sorry for everything."

He's okay now. But the wound was too deep. He stabbed one of his internal organs. The police are here to watch over him. I didn't want the cops to be here, but I have to abide by the rules if I want Chanyeol to tell me the truth. I waited for Seohyun to come here. But I was surprised to see Kris with her. What's he doing here?

"I'm sorry I'm late. How's he?" Seohyun asked immediately.

"He's fine. He was depressed." I answered.

"What happened, anyway? How did he get into your room?" Kris interrupted.

"I don't know. He was there when I got home." I am a bit hesitant, but I will ask him anyway. "Kris, you did not kill Jeong-su and Hani, right?"

"Of course not!" He said, and I nodded.

We entered Chanyeol's room. He's still asleep. I can't believe that after all that, it was all for Hani. What could've happened? I mean, realistically speaking, why would she kill herself? I sat down, and Seohyun went beside me. I thought nothing would be more draining that being chased by death. Right now, I feel really tired and empty. What's happening with my life?

I hope all these pain that I am feeling right now will be worth it. Because to be completely honest, I just want to give up. I stared at Chanyeol who is sleeping peacefully. I can't believe I tried to save the man that almost killed me. But then again, I need answers. I need to find out everything. And if I want Chanyeol to be honest with me, I have to organize my thoughts, and be honest with myself.

I am wondering... Why would Hani kill Jeong-su? And why would she kill herself? Unless she went crazy, but I am still skeptical. I am not stupid. I know Hani was crazy, but she won't be that crazy to just kill herself. Seohyun excused herself, and they went out of the room. And I was just about to stand up, but I saw Chanyeol open his eyes and motioned me to stay silent. I went to his side.

"Taeyeon..." He whispered.

"Are you crazy? I have to call a doctor to check on you!" I hissed.

"Listen to me... Find Baekhyun. He's the only one who could help you. Your friends are useless." He said that and looked around. "Give him this." He said and handed me a familiar jewelry.

"Why are you doing this?" I asked him. "Don't you hate me?"

"After everything that Hani did, the only thing I wanted to do was to get away from her. I don't know if she killed herself, I was depressed, but I know she killed Jeong-su."

"Why would she do that?"

"Because we're on the same page... We both felt unloved." He said and tears started falling. "This isn't the time for me to tell you cheesy stories."

"Chanyeol..." I touched his cold cheek. "I'm sorry this happened to you."

He scoffed. "Shouldn't I be the one saying that?" He said and held my hand. "I'm sorry. For everything."

"Let's just... move on from this. Okay?" I said and hugged him.

I went to my favorite coffee shop and ordered iced coffee. I looked around to see couples and businessmen. I know the businessmen's nature. They wear either black or grey clothes. The love birds, however, are either too young, or too old. In one table, I could see a couple who are probably in their teens. Drinking the same coffee. The other table had a married couple smiling sweetly at everyone that passes by them. They looked adorable.

I wish I had someone to share this moment with. Though I miss someone, it doesn't have to be him. Maybe a friend, or a potential business partner. Or even my dad. I turned my head to the door that opened, and saw someone familiar. I smiled at her, and she turned around to see her friend come with her. Seul-gi and her friend, Irene walked towards my table.

"Hi Taeyeon!" Seul-gi greeted, and we gave each other a hug. "How are you?"

"I'm good." I said and smiled at her friend. "You're Irene, right?"

She reluctantly smiled at me. "Y-yes..." I offered my hand to her, and she took it. "Nice to meet you."

"Likewise." I said and motioned them to sit with me. "So, you two going on a friendly date?"

"Uh, I'm looking for a dress to wear for our engagement party." She said, and suddenly stopped, like she remembered something. "I mean, our real engagement party."

"I see." I smiled at them. "And Irene?"

"I'm waiting for Mark." She said modestly, and I smiled at her.

"And speaking of Mark..." Seul-gi said, and Mark entered the shop.

He waved at us, but he was definitely surprised to see me. He went to order first, then sat beside Irene. I smiled at him, and he did the same. Their coffee was served, and I swear, Seul-gi and I have different tastes. I really dislike warm coffee in the afternoon, and she dislikes cold coffee. She's also kinda like Seohyun. She loves reading books, not as much as Seohyun, though.

"How are you, Taeyeon?" Mark asked, and I smiled at him.

"I'm good, and you?" I turned to see Irene, who looks a bit irritated.

"Same." He said and turned to Irene. "Why are you staring at me like that?"

"Stop being so full of yourself, Mark." She said and drank her coffee.

"Anyway..." Seul-gi tried to break the tension. "Taeyeon. I'll send you an invite once everything is finalized."

"I'll wait for it." I said, and she nodded.

"Well," Seul-gi said and looked outside. "I guess my ride's here." She said and turned to Irene. "You coming?"

"Uh... yeah." She's hesitating. I find this funny. "Mark?"

Mark didn't move. He was just in front of me, drinking from his iced coffee. "Nah, I'll stay."

"Oh... O-okay." She said and they waved at me. I did the same and smiled at the both of them.

"Okay... Let's get to business." Mark said and leaned on the table. "We have a lot to talk about."
