Well, the new-found determination of mine was cut short. I failed my exam in marketing. And the only way I could pass is if I could submit an acceptable project. Obviously, I'm not up for the business, so I have little knowledge about it. And of course, my dad knows I would fail this subject. He even anticipated it.

I had no choice but to ask for Seohyun's help. She said she can help now since she's not handling their business, yet. The last thing I heard about Jeong-su was that he gave up on his business. He left it all behind so he could marry the girl he loved.

Now, the pressure's on Chanyeol. In a way, I could see myself through him. We're both being pressured to do something about our businesses. And if things couldn't get worse, we were 'advised' to date. Advised, nope. Threatened, yes. I could not forget what dad told me.

"You called, dad?" I still feel bad about what happened last week. He motioned me to sit in front of him. "What is it, dad?"

"Date Chanyeol." I was taken aback by what he said.

"But-"

"You want to make it up to me, am I correct?"

"Yes, but there must be another way." I told him.

"I can't entrust you the business." He told me that frankly. "You even failed a simple subject."

"But dad..." I pleaded.

"It's final. If you don't date Chanyeol, I'll cut off your credit cards, your Bently will be given to one of our staff, and you'll live in the mountains with your nanny."

Now that I think about it, spending some time with my old nanny might not be so bad. But it's too late now. I'm already in this situation with Chanyeol. I guess it's better to date someone closer to my age.

Chanyeol is a nice guy, though. I must admit, he's good looking, smart and charming. I also learned from him that we almost had the same situation. That we're both being pressured to run a business. But unlike me, he already fell in love before. It was a senior from the high school he attended.

"Wow! Taeyeon! I thought you said you'd never date someone younger?" Tiffany sarcastically asked when I introduced Chanyeol to them.

"I never said that!" I laughed at her. I looked at Chanyeol who feels a bit uncomfortable.

"So, classmate." Tiffany turned to Chanyeol. "How does it feel like dating someone older?"

"It's fine." He responded. "Exciting."

He could easily mingle with Tiffany because he's also very friendly. It's been two months since we dated, but it feels like we already know each other for a long time. I couldn't say I'm in love with him, though. Because it's too early. But I like him.

"Taeyeon, Tiff, I gotta go. I need to do something." Seohyun excused herself and smiled at Chanyeol. "Bye Chanyeol."

"Bye!" We all waved at her as she left.

Tiffany's boyfriend came to her. They've been together for almost three years. I feel like they're inseperable. I smiled at Edison who is now kissing Tiffany's cheek. Tiffany's smile grew wider and she stood up.

"Well, looks like my date's here. Bye you two!" Tiffany said and held Edison's hand. "Let's go?" Then I saw her boyfriend nod.

I looked at Chanyeol, who is now texting someone. Well, whoever that is, I don't mind. I mean, sure, we're in a relationship, but it's not like we both wanted this. I just dragged him to a restaurant and we both sat down. I ordered a salad since I don't usually eat meat. He's the opposite, though. He loves meat.

We both ate quietly. He kept looking at my food. Is he judging me based on what I eat? I don't like eating what he's eating, though. I looked at him with a dumbfounded expression.

"What?" I asked him.

"Nothing..." He chuckled. "It's just... you remind me of someone."

"Could it be... your ex-girlfriend?" I asked him, and I saw him smile.

"Never had a girlfriend." Oh, that's something I don't know about him. I just nodded.

Chanyeol paid for our meal, then we both left the restaurant. I looked at my blue Bently so I could go home. When I spotted it, I turned to Chanyeol and smiled at him.

"I'll go now." I told him, and he nodded.

"Bye, Taeyeon." He said and kissed my cheek.

I walked towards my car when I bumped into someone. I dropped my bag, so I crouched to get it. The guy helped, and we both held the bag at the same time. I thanked him, but when I saw who it was, I couldn't help but feel really bad. It's Baekhyun.

"Taeyeon..." He called. His scar is gone.

I quickly got up and went to my car. I quickly drove out of the parking lot. I don't know if he's still mad at me, and I really hope he already forgave me. I parked on the side, and I remembered again how I wounded his precious face.

I went home because I'm drained. I went to my room directly, and changed into my pajamas. I was about to turn off the lights when I heard someone knock on my door. I quickly got up and opened the door.

"Yes?" I asked the maid in front of me, and she handed me a box.

"Someone dropped that by, Ms. Kim." She said and I nodded.

I closed the door and went to my bed. I untied the silver ribbon that was tied to the royal blue box. Before I opened it, I felt a bit nervous. I shook the box, hoping I'd get a clue to what's inside. It was noisy, though. When I opened it, I saw a gold necklace with an emerald pendant. There was a letter in the box, so I picked it up.

"Please take care of this necklace for me, Taeyeon. This is important for me, and I can't trust anyone around me right now. I'll get it back when I can. I'm so sorry. -Jeong-su"

So Jeong-su left this here. I don't know what this is, but I hid it under my bed. This must be the only valuable he has left. Well, whatever, it's not like it's very pretty for me to wear. Also, I don't like green jewelries, so I guess this will be under my bed for a while.
