"So, tell me. How are you these past few years?" Baekhyun asked while I was drinking the orange juice.

"Fine. Shouldn't I be asking you that?" I looked at him straight in the eyes. He's actually pretty cute.

"If you're talking about what happened a few years ago, it's fine." He said and touched his right cheek. "I mean, I had it removed, though. The scar, I mean."

"I can tell." I said and smiled. "I'm not even supposed to be with you right now."

"Why not?" He stood up, then sat in front of me.

"Well, I have a boyfriend." I said and I saw the confusion in his expression. "And he loves me."

"Does he really?" I raised my brow at his question. "I mean... who knows?"

"But why me?" I asked him. I had to. "I mean, I did something terrible to you, and here you are, taking me out on a date."

"Well, I just want you." He held me hand and stared at me, making me move back. "Can't I want you?"

I felt my cheeks burning. I'm not used to someone telling me stuff like that. "W-whatever!" I said and looked away.

After a few songs, we decided to leave. He took me to a market full of street foods. I took a stick of fish cake and started eating. I missed eating this. This is so amazing! I looked at Baekhyun who is enjoying this as much as I do! I took another one and started eating again.

I counted the sticks we both ate, and mine summed up to 15. Baekhyun started counting his, then took out his wallet. He looked at the sticks I was holding, then took out some cash to pay for the fish cakes we ate. I felt ashamed because I didn't even grab my wallet.

"Thanks." I said after he payed for everything. "I'll pay you back when-"

I took you out here to enjoy. Let's not talk about money." He said and grabbed my hand.

We looked around and saw a store full of clothes. We both went inside, and I grabbed a pink pull-over with a picture of a horse in the middle. I looked in the mirror and held it in front of me to see if it looks good. Well, it kinda does? I also saw a white chiffon blouse with a massive bow in the middle.

"Do you want that?" I heard Baekhyun ask.

"Ah..." I nodded. I looked for the price tag, but I couldn't find it. I decided to ask the lady who owns this store. "Ma'am, how much is this?"

"For a pretty lady like you, $30 on both items." She said and the crinkles by her eyes showed when she smiled at me.

"Okay." I nodded. I turned around and saw another thing that caught my attention. A black and yellow coat paired with yellow shorts. I stared at it, and it looks really cool.

I saw the lady take what I was staring at and placed it neatly in a paper bag. I looked back to see who bought it, but only Baekhyun and I are the customers in this shop. He smiled at me and showed me his card. I just shook my head and smiled.

"Thanks." I said as I went closer to him.

"Anything for you." He smiled at me and leaned closer. I was surprised by what he did, so I just looked around, trying to avoid his gaze.

"What?" I asked.

"Nothing." He said and pinched my cheeks. "You're cute."

"Yeah, I know. Thanks." I said and smiled at him sarcastically.

He let go of me, then took the paper bag from the lady. We both bowed to say goodbye, then he took my hand. We passed by the food stalls and bought a bunch of street foods before going back to his car. We passed by a convenience store and bought cans of beer. When he got back, he drove somewhere quiet.

"Where are we going?" I asked him.

"Let's go on a real date." He said, and stopped.

I looked at the view, and it's so breath-taking! The city lights are so bright, and the cool breeze brushes against my skin. He sat on the grassy floor and opened a can of beer. I sat beside him and joined him. I also opened a can of beer, then drank it straight.

"So, you had fun even though our date is a bit late?" He inquired.

"Yeah." I said softly. "But... Chanyeol is still my boyfriend, Baekhyun."

"I know." He said and threw the beer can. "I just want to try my luck."

"I'm sorry." I said.

"Don't be. I'll feel miserable if the only thing you feel for me now is pity."

I just nodded, then opened another can of beer. I took a sip. He looked serious, though. He even looks scary right now. But I can't let him know I'm afraid of him. He's nothing to be scared of. It took him a while before he asked me if I wanted to go home.

We did. The whole drive was quiet, but I don't mind. I don't even know what to say to him. I think it's best if I just keep quiet. When we arrived, he handed me the paper bags and told me to wait. He got out of his car, then opened the door for me. I just smiled at him and thanked him.

"I'm serious, though." He said.

"What?"

"I want you. And I'm gonna get what I want, Taeyeon." He said and planted a small kiss on my lips. "You'll see."

I went inside, and I saw the maids eating. They were surprised to see me so early. I looked at what they were eating. It must've been the food the chef cooked since I wasn't around. I just shrugged and went to my room. I looked at my phone. I saw 24 missed calls. All coming from Chanyeol. I quickly dialed his number in panic.

"Where have you been!?" I could hear anger in his voice.

"Sorry. I just went out for a bit. I left my phone. Sorry." I apologized, and I could hear his heavy breathing.

"Taeyeon... I'm sorry I yelled at you. It's just that..." He fell silent for a few seconds. "It's just... I got worried because you weren't home when I got there."

"You came here?" I asked him.

"Yes." He said blankly. "And the maids someone picked you up.

"Ah, we just chatted for a while." I lied.

"Taeyeon..." He called my name coldly. "If you want to go out for a bit, take a breather, that's fine with me. But please don't lie to me next time." He said and ended the call. Did he see Baekhyun here?
