Brooklyn POV

"Umm dean you wanted to see me?"

"Yes Mrs. Moore come in"

I walked in and sat down at the chair in front of his really huge desk.

"Ok I see here you filled for graduation? Which your approved congrats, But your major doesn't match your goal it says you want to be a police officer but you majored in criminal justice?"

"Yes I thought it was the same thing?"

"It is Mrs. Moore but it's nothing like the actual hands on experience. Why didn't you apply for the Academy?"

"Well I figured I wouldn't get accepted because of my mot-"

"Mother, right"

"Yea how'd you know"

"I know everything when it comes to my honor students, you have been through the ringer most of your life I don't know the extent but I do want to do something for you"

I perked up to better listen to what he had to say.

"Ok so I see here you indeed applied for the academy a few years ago it's ok if you didn't remember I looked over it and sent it straight to a colleague of mine who reviewed it and"

"You got accepted!"

My eyes shot open "Really!!"

"Yes mame my question to you is are you going to take advantage of this opportunity?"

"Well dean I'll have to think about it this is something I've only dreamed about and a decision so soon is not the way I do things I'd like to think it through"

"Ok no problem you have two months to think about it, just walk right in when your ready"

"Sounds good" I stood up and shook his hand before leaving. When I was  finally behind the doors I couldn't help the smile on my face. O lord your making a way, your making a way.

I really wanted to tell Dérion about this before I did anything he's the one that believed in me in the first place so it'll only be right to discuss this with him.

I really can't believe this right now. Mommy you've always knew what you were talking about.

I got to Cali house and went straight to the front instead of the guest entrance to tell her the good news. When I got inside the whole crew was  here except C.B. I immediately started laughing when I seen Korday, Tyrell and the twins.

They all were on the ground. Tyrell had his arm around Korday's neck while Kadeem put his little arm over Tyrell's eyes and Kendrick had both his arms around Tyrell's neck.

"Sót sou mwen, bounzen! (Get off me bitch)" Korday yelled.

"Get ou tét pyé bwa (Fuck you wood head ass)" said Tyrell.

"Get off my daddy!"

"Yea get off my daddy toe nail" we all started laughing them little boys know his name is Tyrell they just calling him toe nail.

Korday pushed Tyrell forward and flipped him down to the ground with the twins sitting on top of Tyrell.

Korday started breathing hard he put his hands to Tyrell's neck not squeezing hard. "And the next time!! You better watch how you flipping my boys we don't play round here nor do we fight fair!"

"Korday if you don't get yo ass of my the floor" scowled Cali.

He pushed his hands on Tyrell face "You lucky my lady saved you... boy! Boys come on we let him know the meaning to respecting our house"

"Yea!" The twins said in unison hi fiving each other.

Korday got up and sat back on the couch. While the boys ran to their room.

"I let yo old ass win"

"Nah my boys had you"

"Yaa, psht" he said doing a talk to the hand motion.

I walked in and said hi to everybody.

I walked over to Dérion and kissed him on the cheek sitting on his lap.

"Babe I got good news" I said cheesing.

"What?"

"I got excepted into the police academy" he grinned.

"So you applied?"

"I mean I did a while back but their just responding to me, I really didn't think I'd get in."

"I'm proud of you ma, you deserve it" he said kissing me. "You better except too" I wrapped my arms around his neck.

"I am I am" he started kissing my neck.

"Aye what y'all two talking about over there y'all need to include us!!" Korday screamed dramatically.

"Man include these nuts" Dérion said.

Korday flipped his imaginary hair.

"But if you must know my baby got accepted into the academy" everyone looked blank.

Dérion shook his head "The school to become a police"

"Ohhh" they all said at the same time.

I started laughing. "Congratulations  sugar bean, you applied?" Cali said

"I did a while ago I didn't think they'd actually look at it"

"Well that's good girl" she says pulling me into a hug.

"Ohh before I forget, while everyone is here I'll just invite y'all first I'm throwing Korday a birthday party. It's a all white affair so y'all leave that ratchet shit home please." Cali said plopping down.

"Look who talking, do you here the sentences that come out yo mouth?" said Sin.

"And Sin do you see my fist entering yours?" she said reaching up to punch him but missed.

"Yo diaper wearing ass gone get off my women" Korday said sitting Cali on his laps.

"Mann-" Sin gave Korday a stank face looking him up and down. "Yo fifty shades of grey lookin ass"

Uh oh and it started Sin should not had said that. Korday moved Cali off of his lap. They both stood up and started doing the boxing combinations. Korday jumped a little bit released a breath before putting both hands behind his back and walking over to Sin.

He peeked his head to look at him, twisting his lips up like something smelled really bad.

"Yo big neck ass, yo wide teeth ass, yo long face ass, yo big back ass, yo long arm no having elbow ass, yo lil eye ass, yo blind ass, yo corn on the cobb no corn ass, yo pissy ass, yo bad tape ass, yo bean head ass, yo box head ass, yo big foot ass, yo Disney Channel can't spell it ass," Korday said all in one breath before walking away he started mumbling.

"Bitch done made me mad gone try and come for a real nigga and they ain't send for him looking like Michael Jackson's Bille Jean Beat it"

We all were dying laughing. When Sin was about to say something Korday pointed to the door "As much as I  fucks with y'all I would just like to say on behalf of the Harris's" he clapped both his hands smiling until it turned into a frown "GET OUT!"

Korday walks over to the door and held it open. Just like Martin. Everyone was mumbling something as they got up to leave. Korday just checked the crust on his nails acting like he didn't hear them.😂

"Well he just ruined it for everybody, NOW OUT!"

I can get used to this.
