Vybz Cartel was loud in the club. We just got in and the Jamaicans were all over the place. The air was misty with all the puffs of weed getting blazed in every direction and it wasn't that regular stuff it was that ganja straight from the roots of Jamaica just the smell of it made you high.

It wasn't like the club we went to back home. The place was outdoors with a balcony on top and neon everywhere. It was hard to see but my training in the academy taught me a trick to see in this type of lighting so I was ok.

Cali was already grabbing drinks for us and we started partying on the dance floor.

Tori was the life of the party with her little pregnant self. She was wining all on me and Cali but we was just on each other like that until some Jamaican grabbed Cali and she was dancing on him.

He tried to go over board but Cali pushed him and we walked to the drink area. For some reason I couldn't help but feel someone staring at me it was so weird.

I looked around and my eyes locked in with Dérions he was in the far corner in a reserved area with some dread head man and body guards. He was also with Korday, Cornelius, and Mondo.

The way he looked at me gave me butterflies and I just turned my head.

"Caliah Bain" I said smiling, she smiled back.

"What?"

"Did you know they was gonna be here?" she tapped the rim of her beer bottle and looked down.

"Mhmm" I said pursing my lips out.

"Brooklyn I'm sorry I just wanted us to have a good time but Korday told me they had a business meeting here last minute"

"It's ok just warn me next time"

"Ok"

"Oh I gotta piss" screamed Tori as she waddled to the nearest restroom.

Me and Cali just started laughing "That's your sister"

"No that's OUR sister" I started laughing again.

"Come lets go over there Korday and them big ass eyes done already spotted me and he looking damn good"

"No you go ahead"

"Brooklyn, no, come"

"No I'll be good here by myself go ahead I'll wait for Tori" she looked at me for awhile.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, mhm" I gave her a reassuring smile.

"Ok, I'll be back" she said hugging me.

I turned back around on the counter I was leaning on and took a deep sigh. Then I heard my song come on and I started swaying to the soft melody of Erykah Badu and Stephen Marley's In Love with You.
