The night was dark, draped in a silence that only deepened the mysteries it held. Inside a grand villa on the outskirts of Bangalore city, the dim glow of the bedside lamp cast shadows on the silk sheets that were tangled between two bodies.

Adhyay lay in his king-sized bed, his muscular arm draped over the bare back of a woman curled beside him. His strong, defined chest rose and fell steadily as he slept, his mind lost in a rare moment of peace.

The woman beside him stirred slightly in her sleep, her dark hair spilling over his skin as she snuggled closer into his warmth. His body, trained for precision and control, was unusually relaxed in this moment of vulnerability.

Then, the silence shattered.

The sharp buzz of his phone vibrated on the nightstand, cutting through the stillness of the night. A deep frown creased Adhyay's forehead, and without opening his eyes, he reached out, grabbing the phone with irritation.

"Hmm," he grumbled, his voice laced with sleep and annoyance.

On the other side, a voice spoke urgently, words spilling out rapidly. The moment the first few sentences reached Adhyay’s ears, his entire body tensed. His dark eyes snapped open, instantly alert. His grip on the phone tightened, but he said nothing, absorbing every word.

Then, after a pause, he simply responded, "Okay."

Ending the call, Adhyay let out a slow exhale, his mind calculating the situation at hand. His gaze shifted to the woman beside him, her peaceful face illuminated by the faint light. He studied her for a second before leaning down and pressing a gentle kiss against her forehead.

Then, moving with precision, he slid out of bed, his muscles flexing as he reached for his crisp white shirt draped over the chair. Buttoning it swiftly, he kept his gaze on the woman, his expression unreadable.

He picked up his wallet, slid his phone into his pocket, and secured his branded watch around his wrist. Lastly, he grabbed his sleek leather jacket, slipping it on as he walked toward the door.

Pausing briefly, he glanced back once more before finally stepping out. He locked the villa door carefully behind him, his footsteps echoing in the quiet corridor.

The moment Adhyay stepped out, the cold night air greeted him, but he barely noticed. He reached for his sports car keys, unlocking the vehicle with a single press. The car roared to life, its powerful engine breaking the silence of the night as he accelerated onto the empty streets.

The city lights blurred past him, the speedometer climbing rapidly. His mind was already at the Sherawat mansion, already preparing for the storm that was about to descend.

Within minutes, the iron gates of the Sherawat estate came into view. The guards, recognizing the car instantly, swung the doors open without hesitation. Adhyay didn’t slow down. He drove straight into the estate, pulling up sharply in front of the grand entrance.

Without wasting a second, he stepped out, shutting the door behind him with force. His boots echoed against the marble flooring as he strode inside, his path direct and unwavering.

His destination was the third floor, the private chamber of Adrakansh and Siya. The very heart of the Sherawat family’s power.

Reaching the wooden double doors, he knocked loudly. The force of his knock reverberated through the hallway.

Inside, the couple lay entangled in each other’s arms, lost in a peaceful slumber. Siya’s soft breathing was steady against Adrakansh’s chest as she lay draped over him, her head resting in the crook of his neck. They were in deep sleep, he was holding her close, his protective instincts never faltering.
