Chapter 17
While everyone is busy cheering for the two, somebody pulled me away from the crowd. I couldn't see the owner of these hand blocking my mouth to prevent me from making any more noise.
"heehhhhmmmy!!" I tried talking but I couldn't.
"Shh! Quiet!" said the person from behind.
When we are far from the others he finally let me go.
"Gosh I can't breathe!"
"Hey!" he said
"What the hell Darren!?"
"Hehe! Sorry!"
"Why did you bring me here?" I asked.
"I want to talk."
"We can talk over there, without you dragging me over here."
"No. I want us t talk in private, without their eyes looking at us."
"Is something wrong?" I asked; my voice full of worries.
"No, nothing is wrong. Gusto lang kitang solohin." He grind and pulled me by my waist.
"Woah... easy." I giggle
"Those two are having the time of their lives. And that's because of me."
"What do you mean... because of you?"
"Well... I want our first month celebration to be just for the two of us. But Derick asked for my help and so boom! Party!"
"You're a good friend." I complimented.
"I don't care about being a good friend now. I just want to be good... to you."
"You are good to me."
"Wait. That sound... byun to me."
"WHAT THE HELL!?"
"Come here!" He then pulled me again.
"Hey wait! Don't pull me! Madadapa ako!!"
Naglakad pa kami ng kaunti and then stopped in the middle of nowhere.
"We're here." He said, his back on me.
"What? There's nothing here."
There is really nothing. It's dark and I couldn't see anything.
"Darren!?"
"Celina?"
"Hm?"
"Do you trust me?" he asked. His voice sounds serious
"Why are you asking?"
"Answer me! Do you trust me?"
"O-of course, I do."
"Then just keep trusting me."
With a blink of an eye Derick pulled me and lift me up. My feet off the ground.
"What are you doing? Put me down."
"Okay."
He quickly laid me to my back and now he's on top of me.
"D-derick... what are you doing?"
"You trust me, right?"
His eyes piercing with mine, because of the dim light given by the moon I can see my reflection through it.
"I love you Celina."
Without letting me reply he owned my lips.
His kiss was soft and sweet.
After the kiss, he whispered:
"Look at the sky." He said
As I shift my eyes from him, I saw the beauty of the night.
"Wow..." is the only word that I can say.
The night sky is full of shining stars. I can even connect them to form shapes.
"Ang ganda..." I commented, finally able to gasp the beauty of the above.
"Oo nga, ang ganda." He said
"Can you see that!? Yun yung venus! Tapos yung mercury kita rin oh!"
"I can see ... my future."
"What planet is that, or is it a constellation?" I asked. I shifted my eyes from the sky to his eyes and saw him. His eyes are sincere, just looking at mine.
"You are my future. It's my fate, your fate and our fate."
Once again our lips met.
"I promise to be with you up to my last breath." He said.
"I promise to do my best to stay by your side for life a time."
