The haunting blue eyes that had nothing but anger for me are piercing through my soul, tearing it into two pieces and then I notice a sudden change. The anger drifts to somebody else; the man who was running behind me. Louis strongly holds my arm and without blinking moves in front of me, protecting me from that ruthless body builder. Relief flows through me and I feel like I was about to go blank but this was not the place to act like a weak person. Louis didn't lose the grip and I didn't mind that because I know he is my savior now. The man comes closer and stares at Louis.

"You can't be The Louis Tomlinson. Give that girl to me." He barks out.

"I am very much, 'the Louis Tomlinson' that you are thinking about and don't you dare touch the girl, if you want to breathe for some more minutes." Louis answers coolly.

"Even if you are, I hope you don't want to get your face disfigured. Nobody messes with me here. This is my place and you...."

"I don't want to mess with you. Get away, now"

With this Louis pulls me towards his car.

"If you want the girl, you have to pay for it. She is ours now." He is continuously uttering bullshit. With this, Louis immediately leaves my arm and heads straight towards the man, staring him into his eyes, intimidating him. I could see a hint of terror in his eyes while Louis clenches his fist.

"Say it one more time." Louis says with gritted teeth.

The man musters up all the courage, "Pay for this bitch...."

And in a microsecond, Louis' clenched fist smashes the jaw of this filthy man leaving him in turbulence while he spits blood.

"You could have said that she was with you. No need to fight bro."

I am left shocked at the way his demeanor changed after getting his fair share of punches. He looks at me with a smile and says, "Sorry sista, didn't mean to say that."

The sudden blow had hit him like a thunderbolt, changing his entire being into one of the humblest persons; I have ever had an encounter with. Louis tugs me towards the car and motions to settle inside quickly. I follow without complaining. Closing the car doors, he reverses the car with a speed, out of a different alleyway that I was in before, and moves out to a normal street. The car though slows down after we enter the second street until it finally stops. I know what is coming next.

Louis parks the car to one side and takes out the key, stopping the roaring engine. The passenger seat grows more uncomfortable as none of us is willing to break the silence. I don't want to start because I don't want to assume that he has stopped the car for the same reason that is in my mind.

Louis looks at me, eyes full of rage and I have a confirmation that I am either going to get slapped or slashed by some sort of knife. The tension grows more. Finally, he chooses to break the silence.

"You dared to punch me straight in the face."

"No, I ...."

"You did punch me, DO NOT LIE TO ME, ZARA ARMAN"

He is so intimidating that I am at the verge of crying now, any minute.

"Answer me, damn it." He slams his hand against the steering wheel and sudden horn erupts from somewhere in the car.

"I didn't want to....."

"But you did.... You didn't want to punch me... but you still did."

"It was a reflex action."

"Wohooo... You've got some great reflexes. As a reflex action, you smash somebody's face."

He moves closer to me. I can't look into his eyes so I have to focus on Kash's lucky bracelet that is still on my wrist. His face is merely inches away from mine.

"Punch me again, Zara"

I look into his eyes to see if the voice belongs to him only. Confusion is radiating out.

"Yeah, punch me. I want to see how you release your frustration. Because I don't believe that you punched me because of some stupid reflex action. You punched me because of my attitude towards you. You have some guts to do that. Do it again. I wanna see that ill face of yours, that real side of you that you keep hiding from the rest of the band members."

"Louis, you have to trust me on this. I didn't even know you were there. That man was dragging me to his bar and I punched him and ran from there. I thought one of his men had grabbed my hand when I threw another punch and saw that it was you."

"Don't tell me lies, you liar. This is your real face. You act like you are innocent and all. In actual, you are a mad girl who is just after money. You did this to me because you thought that I can be a threat to your new career. Because you know that I don't like you. You know what, I really don't like you. Let's make it official. I HATE YOU, ZARA ARMAN."

Tears stream down my face. I can feel bile boiling inside me. How could he even think all that? This is nonsense, total nonsense.

"When I pulled you there, you must have thought that I am one of those who want you for your body, that's why you punched me. Tell you what girl,,, you don't trust anyone of us; any of the band members. And this band is all about trust. I can't trust you after this. And why should I trust you, I f****** hate you."

I listen to him. His words are like daggers. They were hitting me right where they can hurt me the most. Seeing his face made it clear, that he meant every single word that he spoke today. Every single word that he thought had now emerged out. I am at the end of receiving his outburst. He is waiting for my reply but I have nothing to say. What should I say? I tried to clear up the misunderstanding but he is not choosing to listen. He has a whole world of misconceptions about me and I am in no position to rectify his beliefs.

I feel like I am a piece of trash dirtying his car. Thanks to him that he didn't choose to throw me out. He starts the car engine and I assume that my response on all the happenings is not needed anymore. Anyhow, when I will reach my place, I will have the whole room for me where I can cry as loudly as I want and for as long as I wish.

The rest of the drive is silent until he pulls out in front of my dorm.

"Out of my car." Louis states flatly.

"Thanks for rescuing me." I turn to look at him when I see him staring at me blankly. I take my cue to move out of the car.

"That's it. You don't wanna say anything else?" He asks coolly.

"There's nothing left to say." I fake a laugh.

He stares at me for a while and I look at him being grateful for the ride back home. He hastily accelerates his car and soon it is out of my view. The park across is tempting but I choose to visit it next time. Now was just the moment to find some space alone where I can cry peacefully without any disturbance. The rest of the day passed crying and starving until I was sleeping on uncovered mattress of my room. Day one, finally comes to an end.

The next chapter is going to be Louis' POV for the first time. Stay tuned.
