Chapter 37: A new guest

Louis' POV:

Zara is coming. Zara is coming. She is coming. I mean, really, she is coming. Why am I so nervous? The whole day after inviting her to my place, I did nothing; and by nothing I mean nothing. I procrastinated everything that I wanted to do and at the end I have barely managed to get my place cleaned up. The driver has gone to bring her here and I still don't know what I am going to do. Alright I'll order pizza, of course she loves it and then.... May be I can ..... I will..... God, help me.

Ding dong.

The bell. I open the door and see the most happening and smiling face at my door; Zara.

"Welcome to my place, Zara. Feel at home. And by the term 'feel at home' I mean, you should act like it's your own place and do everything by yourself. Don't expect me to bring you things." My nervousness speaks volumes. I have played gig in front of millions of people, yet this girl can drive out the tiniest confidence that I have in myself. The Louis with Zara is a different person. I don't know this Louis either. But I do love this Louis.

She smiles her typical enchanting smile that brings out two curves on either side of her lips. They aren't dimples. They are the enchanting smile curves that are possessed by this mesmerizing personality. The moment I see these smile curves on her face, I forget why this planet was made, why I am here, why she is here, why anyone on earth is doing what they are doing. I just remember to repeat one sentence in mind; she is the prettiest human being that can soothe my soul.

"You have a beautiful house, Louis." She exclaims while eyeing at my small cottage.

"The guest is far more beautiful."

She smiles in return. Every problem on earth can be solved with this smile.

"What would you like to drink? Orange juice, kiwi lime drink? Everything is in the fridge. Help yourself, please." I ask her being a good host.

She laughs this time. "Yeah sure, thanks Louis, for being so kind. Now here's the phone. If you remember, you had to talk to Kash."

"Oh yes. How can I forget that."

"Well. Just now you forgot. Take it." She hands over her phone and I dial Kashaf's number.

________________________________________________________

Kashaf is just a replica of Zara. She is quite outspoken, though but never forgets her limits. The imaginary lines that these sisters have drawn around them make them even more prestigious in my eyes. Kashaf also resembles my youngest sister. I guess, the youngest siblings share some common properties. Zara hasn't emerged out of kitchen since the time she went in to bring the juice. God! How can I be so irresponsible? I have a guest at home and from the last half an hour I didn't even check if my guest is alive at my place or not.

I rush towards the kitchen. Aroma of something delicious touches my nostrils and I inhale this aroma mildly begging that it is arising from my kitchen. As soon as I step in, I see Zara; wearing a green apron with a spatula in hand and a pan on stove which is being used to make chicken sandwiches.

"What are you doing girl? I just allowed you to bring a juice and you are messing up with my kitchen." I try getting angry because my guest is being way too good.

"I knew you don't have any dinner at your house. So I thought we can have chicken sandwiches. Otherwise, you'll mindlessly call any pizza parlour. They smell good, right?" she smirks and I sigh because this girl is getting dangerously intelligent day by day.
