<Haylee's POV>

I sat on my beanbag, trying to concentrate on the lyrics I was writing down on the page in my lap, but all I could think about was what happened earlier. Luke had missed my forehead, and I enjoyed it. I actually liked how it felt.

My phone buzzed in my pocket, and I pulled it out. The screen showed I had a text from Del. I opened it and read it.

From: Deli Sandwiches

Come over now. Emergency band meeting. Super important.

To: Deli Sandwiches

Kk be over in five.

I quickly got up, pulled my shoes back on, and de ended the steps two by two. Reaching for my keys which were always on the hook by the door, my hand came away empty. The keys weren't there.

"Luke!" I yelled up to him. "Where'd you put the keys?!"

"Uh, they should be on the counter or by the fridge!" His voice was muffled by the door to Danny's room.

I looked on the counters, finding nothing. But sure enough, sitting beside the fridge on the computer desk, were the keys. "Thanks! I'll be back in a little while. Just have whatever you want if you get hungry."

"Where are you headed to?" It sounded like he was at the top of the stairs, and coming down.

"I have to go meet with the band. Emergency meeting, that's all I know." I headed for the door.

"Could I come? You know, meet the band who I'm going to help get signed?" He chuckled. I heard his footsteps coming down the stairs as I thought for a moment.

"I'm not sure Luke... They might need to talk about something important-"

"I'll be quiet. Won't tell a soul of you don't want me to. Just curious to see how you guys operate. That's all," he shrugged as he rounded the corner. The sight of him still kinda knocked the breath out of me.

I hesitated for a moment. "I guess. But you can't be annoying or anything. These are my best friends," I ordered, pulling the door open.

"Got it," he nodded, walking out before me. "Not that I'm annoying or anything," he chuckled and climbed in the passengers seat.

"Yeah. You're so not annoying," I rolled my eyes.

A few minutes later we reached Delilah's house. I led Luke in through the garage, noticing that Sarah wasn't home. We made our way to the basement, where the others already sat.

"Hey guys. Is it okay if Luke sits in? I've got some news that involves him anyway," I announced as we sat down on a couch.

Tanner wiggled her eyebrows suggestively. "What kind of news?"

"Not that kind of news. Trust me," I rolled my eyes. "Is it cool though?" I asked again.

"Yeah. It's fine if he hears this. It's too exciting to keep secret anyway," Del nodded. The other two nodded as well.

"Okay, so what's this huge news? What is so important that it could interrupt my gaming session?" Mitch asked somewhat irritably.

"So you guys know the record store right? Garret's?" She asked, giddy with excitement. We all assured her we did, and I glanced at Luke with a smile. He grinned back, before I returned my gaze to Del.

"So I just got a call from Garret himself and guess what?"

"Oh my lord Delilah! Just tell us!" Tanner said dramatically.

"Well then Ms. Sassypants. He asked if we could play there," Del said, wiggling with happiness.

"Are you legit?!" I yelled.

"Yeah!" She squealed and jumped up. "We are officially booked at Garret's Record Shop!!!"

"That's so amazing!" Tanner tackled Del, falling onto the carpeted floor with a thud. I laughed, piling on top of T, and Mitch lay down atop me. We were all squished, but it was worth it. We were one big laughing mess, and I couldn't believe it was actually going to happen.

As we all settled down and went to sit back down, I saw Luke's smile, and couldn't help but widen my own a bit. As I thought it over again, however, I felt as if this had already happened, as if we had already played at the record shop and something important happened after.

"So what was your news Hay?" Mitch sighed happily as he lay down on the shorter couch.

"Oh yeah. So Luke and I were hanging today and-"

"Wow. Shocker," T giggled. "I thought you hated him."

I blushed slightly, not looking at Luke as I continued. "So he told me about the band he's in and how they have a record label and stuff and how he'd try to help us get signed." I pushed the words out quickly before I could be interrupted again.

"Wait. You're in a band?" Mitch raised his eyebrows.

"Yeah. It's called 5 Seconds Of Summer. You might have heard of us, you might have not. I don't really know," Luke shrugged beside me, leaning forward with his elbows on his knees. "There's a lot we'd have to work out, but we can probably do it pretty soon."

"Are you fúcking with us right now Luke?" T asked skeptically. "Because if you are I will end you."

"No. I'm being completely serious right now," he chuckled.

Now it was Luke's turn to get tackled. But this time it was first my Del, then me, then the other two. I tried to ignore the fact that the only thing separating the two of us was Delilah, and had I been a few seconds faster I'd be the one directly on top of him.

"Oh god! Can't- breath!" He joked from the bottom of the pile. After a few more moments we all flipped off of him, left with a group of five laughing teenagers sprawled across the floor.

"Thank you man," Mitch said after a minute or two. "You don't know how much that means to us. We've been trying to get signed for like two years now."

"Well the only thing I can guarantee is that my producer will check you guys out. Whether or not he'll want us to sign you is up to him, though if it were my decision I would do it," Luke said matter-of-factly.

"Still. Thanks," T sand and sat up.

"No problem. It's my pleasure," he smiled, glancing at me. I wasn't sure what his look meant, but I smiled.

Hopefully our relationship was on a better path now.

A/N

I'm sorry that totally sucked. I was honestly kinda rushing to get this done before I leave for camp in like an hour. I just really wanted to get that out there.

Will the performance end up like in Haylee's dream? Will it be different? Who knows? (Hint: I do. Hehehe ;P)

I love you guys and thank you so much for all your love and support on here. If you want you can go check out my other Luke fanfic. It's called Rejects. It's super cute and I'm literally so proud of it thus far. If you've already read it, you rock. Thanks. I hope you don't mind my shameless self-promotion. I just love that story so freaking much.

Okay. I'm gonna go now so thanks, love you all, and have a wonderful week. I'll try to write (in my notebook...blugh...) while I'm at camp. But no guarantees. Hahahahaha!! >:D 'Kay bye. <3
