A knock issued from the front door after school, and I rushed to answer it. I knew it was Grace before I even opened the door, a smile plastered on my face.

"My room," I said as soon as the door was open. We immediately ascended the stairs, shutting ourselves in my room. This was our usual routine, and thanks to Luke we most likely wouldn't be leaving my room until she wanted to go home.

"So. What's the plan for today?" Grace asked and walked over to the mini fridge in the corner. Perks of being the oldest as well as the only girl. She grabbed a juice pouch and flopped down on my giant bean bag in the corner (just because we're in high school doesn't mean juice pouches aren't the best things ever invented...)

"Talking. Lots of talking. Maybe some music, and other miscellaneous things," I shrugged and pulled out my phone.

"My favourite activities when I'm here," she laughed. "So what's up chic?"

"You know Luke right?" I started. She nodded, sipping her juice. "Well I can't stand him. He acts like such an angel around everyone else, then as soon as he talks to me he's the biggest douche ever. And I just don't get it," I said unhappily.

"Interesting. Because after chorale he introduced himself to me and like you said, he was an angel. I almost feel like that's how he shows affection!" she laughed.

"Yeah right," I scoffed at the idea. Luke didn't give two shíts about me. "I wouldn't like him back even if that were the case."

"Face it Hay, he's pretty dang attractive," Grace raised an eyebrow and grinned. That's one thing I love about her. She refrains from swearing as long as she can help it. It amazed how innocent she still was.

"Well, I guess. But still..." I mumbled and flipped over onto my stomach. "Why does his face have to be so perfect when his personality is so horrible?" I groaned.

"I guess that's what you get with that bad boy type," she giggled.

"Yeah, let's go with that," I rolled my eyes and looked at her. "So. Any cute European boys I need to know about?"

"Wow Haylee, are you okay? We never talk about boys this much," she joked.

"I'm just asking, god. If you don't want to talk about boys, just tell me," I replied in the sassiest tone I could muster.

"There was actually this one guy. He traveled with the group an he was from England. We bonded over books among other things. He was a total fanboy," she grinned, getting a look in her eyes that told me she was deep in thought about this boy. "His name was Xavier and he was perfect. Just perfect."

"Well, did this relationship go anywhere?" I raised an eyebrow playfully.

"The day we had to leave, he came with us to the airport, as we were leaving from England. And before I got on the plane he-he kissed me..." she said with a mix of emotions.

One thing about Grace: she's very emotional. And I don't mean in the way that she always cries or yells. No. She's just a very...devoted person, for lack of better words. She gets very passionate about things, and that passion is often expressed as loud rants and huge, contagious smiles. Not to mention her laugh.

"It was possibly the best moment of my life. No, wait a minute. Scratch that. The best moment of my life was when I got to Disney. Magical place," she closed her eye and smiled. "But it's a very close second," she looked at me again.

After that, we talked about what kind of things they did, she told me stories people had told her, and we discussed music, of course.

"I know! It's just so good!" I said excitedly. She had mentioned Twenty Øne Pilots' new album, Blurryface, and I went crazy. They were one of my favourite groups, and I had pre-ordered the album as soon as it was available.
