Hello my little angels (who got that low key 1D reference in the title? ;p)
I hope you font hate me too much for my unacceptable setting off of the next chapter of this book. But I'd like to update you all on what's going on here. So sit back and please try to understand how awful I feel about leaving you guys hanging.... >~<
So, to start things off, I'd like to thank every single one of you who has stuck through this little hiatus. Your patience and eagerness for the next installment has seriously made me so happy. And the fact that before I put this story on pause it had just over 10,000 reads and now it has over 13,000 amazes me. I haven't updated since November 1st and you have all gotten this over 3,000 reads in just two short months. Thank you more than I can say. Really. I love you all so much.
To all of you who have been demanding I update (jk. You've just been asking in the comments, but I like to think of the comments as demands), you all have kept it in my mind that this needs to be the first story I update when I Finished Rejects. I appreciate your enthusiasm and I thank you for keeping me grounded and focused on updating.
That being said, I've been having a bit of writer's block with this next chapter. Before I went on hiatus with it, I had everything planned out, but unfortunately I didn't have the foresight to write down general ideas and prompts for what I had planned. Two months of not writing this and only writing a different story made me forget all of those great ideas, other than a few major plot keys (which I'm obviously not telling you ;D).
Therefore, I'm currently rereading the story from the beginning. This is serving a dual purpose. The first is to refresh my memory on what has already happened and when it happened (even I forget my own stories sometimes. It happens....) The second is to find any typos, plot holes, etc. so I can edit the story. I really want this next update to be awesome because you guys really do deserve it.
I hope you all understand and I just thought I'd fill you in on what's taking so long. I really love you all, and I hope you had a safe and happy holidays, happy New Year, and I hope the best for you all!
