Mackenzie's POV

I had just gotten out of the canoe with Liam and we set up our blankets. We sat a little far away from Emily and Harry so we could have our own privacy.

"This summer has gone by so quickly!" Liam said sounding a but depressed.

"I know!" I agreed. "But we have to keep in touch!"

"For sure!" Liam said. "We already have each others' phone numbers so we will make sure to talk all the time!" I nodded in agreement. "But, before we leave, I want to totally get to know you." He said.

"What do you mean?" i asked.

"I want to know all that I can about you before we leave this camp." He said to me.

"Me too! How about a game of 20 questions?" i suggested.

"Perfect!" he replied.

"Alright. What is your favorite type of food?" I asked

"Spaghetti!" He said after thinking for a moment.

"Me too!" I said cheerfully. We talked and talked for what seemed like hours. I heard his most embarrassing moments and his favorite things. I was just so happy that we had this moment and I never wanted it to end but we had almost finished our game.

"I feel like I know your life story!" he exclaimed.

"Me too!" I agreed.

"But one last question." He said.

"Go ahead." I said curious of what it could be.

He paused for a moment then began. "Mackenzie, will you be my girlfriend?" I felt my heart stop for a moment but then begin to beat a million times per minute. Did Liam Payne, the man of my dreams, just ask me to be his girlfriend? I couldn't believe what was happening but I snapped myself back to reality. I stared into his deep brown eyes and made my decision.

"Yes!" I squealed with joy. He pulled me into a tight hug. I felt so safe in his arms. He pulled away and looked me in the eyes.

"I love you." He said as it came out as barely a whisper. I knew what I was about to say was true and I knew it was meant just for him.

"I love you too."

Liam's POV

"Bye Liam!" Mackenzie called as she jogged back to her cabin.

"Bye Mackenzie!" I waved back. She was the prettiest girl I have ever seen. I still can't believe she said yes! I think my lips will be stuck in a smile forever. I looked over and saw Emily saying good bye to Harry. They hugged and he said goodbye to Emily while he walked over to me.

"She said yes!" We both cheered simultaneously.

"That's awesome!" I said.

"Now we can go on real double dates!" Harry exclaimed. We pulled each other into a bro hug and he slapped me on the back.

"Lets go back to the cabin and help the boys pack their stuff." Harry said with probably the best mood he has ever had. We walked back to the cabin and saw that the boys were all crowded around the cabin window. Once the saw us, they immediately turned around and quickly scurried back to their beds and acted like nothing had happened.

"Boys, what's going on?" Harry asked. None of them responded. I was confused for a moment but realized what they were doing.

"Were you boys spying on us while we left?" They all stared at the floor, not daring to make any eye contact with me or Harry. Suddenly one of them spoke up.
