Chapter 3

Emily's POV.

I woke up and it was 7:00. I can never go back to sleep in the morning so I decided to go scope out the camp site and see all of the activities. I got up and threw on my Abercrombie jeans and my Jack Willis hoody and started to head out.

I always like to go outside to think. I started making my way towards the lake. It's not a big lake and there's nothing special about it but I like it. I sat down on the dock and watched the sun rise. It was just so beautiful here. I was trying to soak it all in when I heard foot steps behind me. I really didn't want to be disturbed right now. I was guessing it was probably Mackenzie wondering where I went but when I turned around I couldn't take my eyes off of him. The most gorgeous face stood there with his eyes locked on mine.

"Do you mind if I join you?" He said with his deep, soft British accent.

"Uh, sure!" I managed to stammer out. He sat down next to me and we just sat there for about 30 seconds until he broke the silence.

"So, what your name?" He said.

"I'm Emily, and you are..." I replied

"I'm Harry, it's nice to meet you!" He exclaimed.

"It's nice to meet you too! So what are you doing out this early?" I asked.

"I'm just an early riser." He replied

"Oh me too!" I said. "So what cabin are you in?

"I'm part of the moose cabin. My co-director is Liam Payne." Said Harry.

"Oh! Apparently my co-director, Mackenzie has a little thing for Liam. She couldn't stop talking about him all night!" I replied.

"Wow really!? Liam was dazed by her! He couldn't think straight all night! He said.

"I can't believe it they would be such a cute couple!!" I said as I noticed my voice rising.

"Shhhh!!!" He said jokingly. "You'll wake everybody at camp!"

"Oh haha sorry!" I said in a hushed voice.

After that there was a moment of silence. I looked over at him. He was so handsome in the early morning light. I could tell he was thinking deep thought about something. I decided now wasn't the time to ask him.

Harry's POV.

She was so beautiful. I had just met her and I had instantly fallen in love with her. Emily. Her name was perfect. It rolled off my tongue in all of the right ways. She was just so pretty- scratch that- she was gorgeous. I could tell she was looking at me. It looked like she had something on her mind. I really want to know if she feels the same way about me.

"So what are you and your cabin planning on doing today?" I asked her.

"I don't know yet. I'm pretty sure nobody is awake in my cabin yet." She said.

"Oh ya same here. Liam was planning on doing something but he wouldn't tell me what it was. He likes to keep to himself a lot." I explained.

"I really hope Mackenzie planned something. I am really confused and it's only the second day of camp!" Emily blurted out.

"It's ok! I feel the exact same way. This is my first year here and I'm just trying to follow Liam's lead since this is his second year. Don't worry, I'll be here for you and I'll never let anything bad happen to you." I told her.

"Thanks Harry. I'm really glad we did this. It really helped me take my mind off everything that is going on. From soccer to school and friends, it's really hard to keep up with everything!" She explained to me.

"I'm glad we did this too. So I hear your into soccer? I am pretty good at it if I do say so myself" I said with a smirk.

"How about a little match this afternoon. My cabin against yours." She said cockily.

"You're on!'' I yelled back.
