Its been a few days since they discovered and learned about another opened rift in Klingon space. Right now, the Cerritos is in warp after its recent mission.
Rutherford: Oh. I'm pooped. Working on ocean planets really takes it out of you.
YN: I'm gonna have hard time washing my hair after this. Despite that, it was pretty nice.
Tendi: I love cataloging algae as much as anyone, but keep it to a thousand mutations or less.
Boimler: Yeah, I think I'm not gonna come back to Piskes Nine until at least tenth contact.

Tendi curiously scans Mariner.

YN: Huh, maybe we should have some ocean planets missions sometimes.

They head straight to the bridge to get to their station.
Ransom: Captain, we dropped out of warp due to a navigational malfunction.
Freeman: Captain to Cetacean Ops. Lieutenant, what's your status?
