Chapter 5

As I opened my eyes without my alarm blazing in my ears or my little brother jumping on bed telling me to wake up, I rubbed my eyes , And once I got my vision to normal I glanced over at the clock...uh-oh I only had 30 minutes till the bus came I got into the shower.

Once I was out I wrapped a towel around my body and walked to my brothers bedroom, my mother almost always sleeps in till 11 in the morning. I told Joey to get up and that id be in the bathroom in a minute to set up his bath. I quickly got dressed and ran to get the bath started with only 20 minutes before the bus would be at our stop.

 I told joey I would just drive him to school today so that we could have an extra 30 minutes.so I told him we had 40 minutes cause it took 10 minutes to drive to the school. After I got his bath ready I started the coffee maker to make 5 cups 2 for me and 3 for my mom because she drank it throughout the day, I only drank one with breakfast and took one to go for the day.

 I made French toast that morning making sure to leave 3 pieces for my mother (she was a big eater.)I got joey a plate set with food and a cup filled with apple juice as he came down the stairs with dripping wet hair and a towel wrapped around him I told him I set out an outfit for him for picture day and he went and got dressed.

 After we ate I put on his dress shoes and tied them up. We were on our way to joeys school...finally. I dropped him off with his friend Izzy, and then I went off to my school by the time I got there I still had 15 minutes till class started and by my surprise Ryan was already there, I sat on a bench out side of school right next to him and here is how our conversation went :

Ryan: hey Mack...

me: hey Ryan, why are you here so early?

Ryan: I like to come here to think. And um I kind of had something I needed to ask you.

Me: yea sure you can tell me anything

Ryan :um...well I kind of thought that the other day was really fun and I was wondering I you would mind being my girlfriend

I didn't want to see creepy and be like omg yes this is the best that's ever happened to me so I said I had a lot on my mind and that id think about we sat in a moment of silence and than the bell rang and I walked off after I said bye.

before the last period of the day the meanest girl in school named Bella ran into me and said" oops sorry" knocking me to the ground then she crouched down next to me saying "Ryan is mine, back off "great this is just great! today was horrible hopefully tomorrow Ryan tells Bella to back off...
