Chapter 10

  I hadn't been enjoying gymnastics lately and had been skipping classes to hang out with Destiney and take care of Joey and my mom.So today I decided to quit. I felt bad because Daniel my coach was the best coach id ever met.

  It was just time to day goodbye.To many things have been going on and I just don't want to go to something that's expensive that I don't even enjoy.

  I decided that I might take a part time job at the library.Me, Destiney, and Joey just loved books.It wasn't so much reading the books but just looking at them. I guess we were weird.

I drove up to gymnastics to tell Daniel the bad news. He was unset but he understood after I told him about everything going on.

Joey was with me because he had to return his book while I asked about getting the part time job, he also wanted to pick out 2 new ones. If he comes one more time the next time he would be able to get adventure books. We probably went to the library 2 times a week anyway so this job would be good. While I would be working joey could read his book and look for new ones ,after all its better than him being addicted to video games.

I got the job! right on the spot too. She said that she definitely needed somebody to hire and that a teenager would be good for the environment.It was only minimum wage and she said I could pick my days to work which was 3 days a week. I could pick Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, or Saturday. I was so happy to get the job I almost squealed with joy. once joey was done checking out his books I picked out a new book and we left.

My Step dad called today and told me he was going to Mexico for a week. Knowing him it would be a month. He told me to tell my mother and I asked why he didn't just tell her. He responded with saying that she still didn't want to speak to him which I actually understood.

I told mom the great news and she smiled weekly.At this time we were in the hospital because that's where we spent most of our time till it was an hour before joeys bed time .Last week I asked the librarian if I could take my mother who was in the hospital 12 books to occupy her for the next 3 days before we visited again, she said yes.So I picked up my mothers finished books (there was only 4 ) and kissed her goodnight. I lifted up joey so he could kiss her to and she closed her eyes so she could fall sleep.

Today was a mostly uneventful day besides me getting a job. Goodnight diary. Keep my story safe.
